The Buck Arms in Norwich

Lovely little pub. Lots of wine & beer choices. A little disappointing that 4 outside tables had plates &/or glasses from previous guests left on them. Menu looks good, would definitely return at a less busier time.

Very disappointed. The quality of the beef for Sunday lunch was very poor & so was the flat iron steak. We all found it very chewy. Veg cold & a poor selection. Staff were friendly but the service was very slow.We were told that our table would be needed in two hours for the next sitting, and that’s completely understandable, however it took so long to clear our main course, we were then had no time to relax & enjoy a pudding!Will have all been put off returning, a real shame.

Went out with friends for a catch up and had food and drink. Had a good selection of drinks and the food menu had a good choice, food was lovely and generous portions. The staff were all very friendly. Lovely place.

Super place to visit on the edge of Blickling hall.good food and ale choices. I had the local Brancaster mussels they were delicious my friend had homemade soup, also delicious. Plenty of outside seating. Great also for dog owners.

Beautiful location, delicious food and friendly staff. We stayed in room 4 which was a lot smaller than we'd expected from the photos on their website. Above the bar which could be quite noisy. Ok for a one night stay but would have preferred something bigger for a 4 night stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing food! We had the festive menu last week. It had a good variety and some interesting choices.Large portions, we were truly stuffed come the end of the meal especially as we didn't want to leave any.Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because of the table layup. A 3 course festive dinner and we have one set of cutlery on a napkin with a cheap cracker with a sticker inside.But otherwise couldn't fault, the service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend.

A brilliantly traditional pub in an amazing location. A warm atmosphere too. A good range of ales and the food. Well, the food!

Stayed at The Bucks last Wed's. Really nice spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, good selection of teas and nice biscuits, warm and cosy. The food was fabulous, plenty of it and perfectly cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay again. Also really good breakfast and a nice walk around Blickling Hall lake.

Hands down the best meal out in a long while. Greeted by Tom and Ella, they both had such great vibes made us feel so welcome... 5pm on a Sunday fairly busy but didn't have to wait long for food- which was fantastic!! Great size portions and absolutely delicious! Lovely staff, food and great vibes 🙌

Wow! This place does not disappoint!!! The menu choices are excellent, for both meat-eaters and pescatarians, lovely setting, dog-friendly, local ales and gins. Portions generous! We couldn't finish, even with a post-bike ride appetite. Fantastic, gem of a pub. Well worth a visit.
