The Cellar House in Norwich

Had a wonderful breakfast here today. Staff were very friendly and personable and they have a lovely market once a month during summer which is really worth a visit.

Had a lovely lunch on Monday, complete with baby and dog. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food delicious and portions super generous. Can't wait to return.

Had an absolutely amazing time last night at the pub listening to the Irish Folk Band. Superb experience and highly recommend to all!Very busy all night and everyone there seemed to be loving it. Didn’t have a table booked for food but what was coming out from the kitchen looked amazing.Also, a big thank you to all staff who worked really hard on what was a very busy shift to give everyone a top night out. Well done guys!Will definitely be back for this night again! Cheers!

I went for my birthday meal with my family here this evening and honestly the most memorable meal out in a long time! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful and they have the loveliest staff. We were served by Laura (I believe that's her name) and she helped make the meal so special! Customer service is top notch and I will definitely be coming back here again!

The website states: "delicious home-cooked food at _very reasonable prices_."£13.75 for a lentil burger, a slice of vegan cheese, with a handful of chips and two onion rings...Forgive me for not thinking £2 worth of food is worth a the 700% markup.I wouldn't mind so much if that's not the first line on the website, but for two people to have two burgers and two pints, and for the bill to come to nearly £40, is a little rich.

Great beer, atmosphere and food, couldn't ask for more. At a recent visit I had one of the best ribeye steaks I have ever had, in fact it was so good I had to come back again to make sure! 😉

Long standing pub offering good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Interior decor in the main bar is contemporary and the pub also houses a post office provision. The menu is a good size with a wide range of options and specials as well. Food was of a good quality, well cooked and presented. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Desserts were good too and prices reasonable for Norwich.

Stumbled on this place by chance. So glad I did. Staff are very friendly & helpful. The food was very good & reasonably priced + a choice of cask ales. What's not to like.If you're after quirky... the pub/restaurant has a post office inside.

Very nice and helpful staff,fresh food prepared on the moment. Got a falafel vegan burger which was pretty good but the side was disappointing (potatoes badly cooked and salad with ketchup on it). Other people at my table were totally satisfied with fish and chips and beef burger

I found the Cellar House by searching for "Good Pubs to Eat in Norwich" this was one of 10 listed. We arrived on time and were greeted with a smile and quickly shown to our table. We ordered drinks and were left to ponder over the menu. We ordered "Nibbles" to start and Guinea Foul, Mussels, their special "Stack Burgers" and a vegetarian meal for our mains. The food was excellent, well presented and the portions were good. None of us could manage a sweet and settled for coffee instead. Overall we were all most satisfied and would return again. The staff were attentive and very helpful.P.S. The "Stack Burgers are a man sized meal.
