Really lovely food, atmosphere and service. Only thing that wasn't perfect were the veggie sausages were super dry (but edible)

·

It was good thanks heat took us outside where most of the xast of the Jane Mcdonald concert were present. It was a great show.It did start to rain but not enough to make a difference.

A lovely drinking pub in the quieter part of the city. Staff friendly and plenty of choice to drink.always a good stop b4 heading home.

Absolutely fantastic welcome today. I hope the staff read this. We visited with our 2 dogs, and they were made to feel just as important as us....and they are!!! Great meal, great drinks, lovely atmosphere and staff were excellent. Thank you. Visiting from Kent. 🙂

Amazing roast! I had pork belly, others had beef. The crackling was spot on! Fantastic quality homemade roast, with sides available..absolutely delicious and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Staff all really friendly and helpful

They started food at 5pm so we sat and had a mulled wine and mulled cider. Both were delicious and the bar staff let us try it first to make sure we liked it. The staff were very welcoming and gave us the food menus to look at while we waited. The seating areas are very cute and we sat in a booted area (uncomfortable for two trying to sit in it) but they do have stools as well. The food came out very fast and we tried the tapas menu. All the food was cooked well and I'd recommend the squid and the sweet potato balls.

I loved the rust dinner, paid around 37£ for a tapas (squid as starter) and 2 rust dinners. Really good price, staff and the best part it's cozy.

New review time.Visited today for a drink and roasts for me and the Mrs. Very friendly staff and the roasts were delicious! I had the Pork belly and the good lady had chicken. Roast pots, roasted carrots and parsnips were spot on and the gravy proppa tasty!Yum, yum, looking to return very soon 😋Also, we love the pub, the good ole traditional decor, excellent range of drinks, just feels right! I wish I lived nearer.... Thanks guys and girls

Great place to stop for a bite, large outside seating area along the side of the pub, some under cover. Good service and quality food.

I've been drinking in this pub for years. And honestly one of my favourite pubs! Great atmosphere and definitely has that old pub feel. Good grub and great staff.
