Great old feel pub. Great for an after work pint. Always lively.

·

Dirty place with very rude staff and management. I will never return.

·

Just a really poor pub. Awful attitude of staff also. Would not recommend.

·

Dont think they clean the pipes, the pint was full of black bits and was dead, had to ask three times for a decent pint and was treated like a leper. Horrible owner, didn't like that i spoke welsh with my family.

Better known by it's pseudonym 'The Murderers', it is a well known local hostelry and purveyor of real ales - a must for lovers of Norfolk real ales including their own 'Murderers Ale' brew. Always busy, space is sometimes at a premium and the toilets are small but clean (& even have TVs in front of the urinals to keep up to speed with the latest Premier league managerial sacking!). In summary, a pub full of character, Norwich character, with bar staff who are willing to go the extra mile; taking group photos etc.

·

Really nice, interesting pub with a wide range of ales available, known as the Gardeners Arms or more commonly The Murderers

·

One of the better inner city pubs. A lot of sport is usually on, but it's a big enough place that you can avoid that if you want. Not really my sort of place but can appreciate it's a well-run bar with a good offer of drinks.

·

Great traditional pub right in Norwich city centre serving a good ale choice (3 thirds paddles available) with a friendly welcome.

This pub, locally known as the Murderers Arms, is a splendid, wood beamed, multi-floored pub with excellent pub food. The Norfolk sausages, mash and gravy is mouthwatering and the steak and ale pie? The same. There is a large selection of real ales on tap with a number of local ales well worth trying. The pub is decorated by broadsheet stories of murderers which add to the atmosphere when you find out why it's called the Murderers Arms. The back of the pub has a lovely selection of concert posters from the sixties and seventies. Even better, on Thursday it has live blues. All this does not cost a fortune - in fact, both beer and food are eminently affordable. For visitors to Norwich, it is not to be missed.

I love this place, it's my local when I'm in the town. The landlord & his staff are such lovely people & great banter too, I've become friends with some here, the food is gorgeous also, very tasty, ample portion size, fresh quality & well worth the money! 😊
