The Golden Star in Norwich

Just popped in for a quick drink last night with my wife after having a dreadful experience at The Junk Yard 🤢 and felt super welcome when we walked in. Never been in b4. The lovely lady behind the bar immediately smiled at us both when we opened a the door and we straight away felt like we were very very welcome. Loved it. Could have sat in there all night. Lovely atmosphere. Thank you.

Staff were friendly, there was a nice cosy fire and a pleasant atmosphere, enjoyed our food, would go back again.

The staff were lovely and I really liked the atmosphere. The food portions were good with a focus on quality (I loved the chips). Let down by the beer and the prices were very steep. You can get better quality at cheaper prices at pubs in the within a couple of minutes of walking.

Cozy pub with heated covered internal patio that we came across on Sunday during a weekend visit to Norwich. My partner's pork was a bit chewey but my beef was delicious. Good Yorkshires and selection of veg

Loved the pub. Visited 3 times in the last month. Made to feel very welcome. Table service at the moment. Very attentive staff.

Went for Sunday lunch & wasn't disappointed. Roast beef was lovely, loads of vegetables including cauliflower cheese. Would definitely eat there again, only downside is that there is no parking so you need to walk a little bit.

Great pub, will be much better when you can order and sit at the bar again.

Lovely bar not a term I would normally use at all. Staff friendly and happy and helpful.Highly recommended for a visit

They do a great small plates menu, ideal if you want a selection of things to try, food was excellent and good value for money, they are also dog friendly and have a great quiz on a Sunday evening.
