The most amazing food - highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff, will be back again soon

The expectations were somehow high as we wanted to celebrate our friend’s birthday with a nice dinner. We ordered all the starters and one main each. Everything was mediocre, especially the Kentucky fried octopus and the cod, but what troubled us the most was that the order came wrong. For a £40 dinner in Norwich, let’s say service is simply not good enough. Pity.

Great evening at the Last, Crab mini burger to start, delicous flavours really well put together, mains where venison cooked to perfection, Cod was wonderfully balanced with the samphire, my grandfather being a Italian Chef, I think the top of the cod should be crispy or taken off, but that to be fair is a personal choice, the staff where wonderful an unrushed but efficient service highly recommended book in advance to avoid disappointment, finished with the Ruhbarb Crumble.

Friendly service. Fair prices. Needs more choice on wine by the glass. Lemon sole was very good. Pheasant was rather tough. Room a bit chilly.

The service is great and the food is amazing. I loved all of the dishes, but my favourite was the ox cheeks: you can cut them with a spoon and they melt in your mouth.

Wonderful place, really great food and beer. The 400g sirloin is worth every penny. Highly recommended. Great staff. Lovely experience.

Some really good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. There are two areas to eat and both are very pleasant and inviting.Lovely old bar in the one section. There is a good drinks selection and the barman made some excellent cocktails.Prices are good and the food is super tasty. A good place for a date night and also for a night out with a group of friends. Would recommend.

My favourite restaurant in Norwich. If you enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch of roast pork or beef with all the trimmings this is the place for you. There is an appealing choice of starters but beware ... the main courses are huge. Not only is the food outstanding but the service is impeccable. Great value in the heart of the City.

Thanks so much for everything you did to make our night special. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, the wine was stunning and the team were so professional. Plenty of locally sourced ingredients too! Beautiful place, would definitely recommend! See you soon.
