The Oak Tree in Norwich

Lovely staff, lovely surroundings and great atmosphere. I tried the open seafood sandwich and it exceeded my expectations for something so simple it was delicious ❤️

A lot's changed since I last came here in the days it was the Maid Marion and all for the better.Very clean, friendly pub/restaurant. Quiet at the time of our visit (1330ish) - the food was good and very reasonably priced with a very little time to wait either. Nearly forgot to mention the well kept Woodefords & Adnams real ales available!The staff were welcoming and two were even, willingly, dressed as cowboys to advertise the evening's Country and Western theme entertainment.A good size car park and plenty of outside seating areas.On A140, just off the Norwich outer ring road so good transport links.

Enjoyed a scoot to the Oak tree for delicious sweet potato fries, southern fried chicken and ginger beer! Lovely to see so cute doggos in the beer garden 😍

We both had a meal deal steak, chips, mushrooms and tomato plus a pudding of apple crumble and bread and butter pudding with ice-cream. Total £33 This meal was very good value, and we would highly recommend. Looking forward to the next one.

What a brilliant refurb! Looks superb. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and def. value for money. The staff were polite and very helpful. They were able to recommend a couple of places to visit in between my meetings. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Norwich.

So we had a meal 3 weeks ago, and to say it was poor was an understatement but even though we could of asked for a refund we decided to go again! Tonight was absolutely amazing, the food was outstanding and the staff went above, especially our waitress Charlotte!! Thank you for a lovely evening!!We will definitely come back!!!

We have eaten here regularly since the reopening and have been impressed with the quality of food and price! We regularly join the pub quiz which we think is a great weekly event! Always good service and have especially appreciated the service we have received from jodene - her Long Island iced teas are some of the best I’ve tried! We will be in again soon no doubt

We had chicken terrine for starters which was delicious and it came with warm bread a dressed salad and an excellent chutney. For mains we had lamb shank with lovely creamy mash and very good veg and pork belly with extremely tasty bubble and squeak and crackling, both were good portions and we enjoyed them immensely. The staff were helpful and attentive and we enjoyed the whole experience so will definitely go again soon and will be recommending to friends.

Lovely refurbishment. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Burgers to die for, beef and mushrooms pie, light fluffy pastry. Crumble and custard hot and good portions. Bread and butter pudding fingers amazing. Highly recommended, definitely be back again soon.£11:99 2 course option or £14:99 3 course option.Great value for money.

During the week, they offer a set menu. It was 11.99 for a dish plus a dessert/app. The chicken burger was good and the chips were serviceable! I enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, but two of the dessert options weren't available (both of which I wanted first!). The aesthetic was interesting and the service was good!.
