Trattoria Rustica in Norwich

Had a meal here last weekend. Will keep it as short as possible.£4.50 for a flat coke wasn't a great start.£10.95 for Frogs Legs starter that were rather tasteless. Only reason we finished them was because the battery remebled an half arse attempt at KFC. The snail soup thingy taste nice, but again £10.95 was too much for what it was.Although the mains had flavour ( Wild Boar risotto and the Costa Smeralda seafood risotto). For £17.95 a pop, I felt the food was really over priced. The presentation was lacking, which unfortunately made it look like my mate had slapped it together in his kitchen. £10.95 would of been about right.10% service charge of £6.50 on top of a £65 bill, madness.Service was friendly, can't complain about that. Would of been nicer had it not felt like the staff were reading from a script. Bit of a baby day center during the weekend, so if your looking for intimacy, this isn't isn't place.

Food fairly good, service not bad.Tired decor and seating.Too expensive all round though, not worth the money unfortunately.20% service charge added to bill is very cheeky.£192 bill for 4 people was bumped up to over £230, I left a 10% tip on this as didn't realise.I don't mind paying, but sorry you are strumming it.People won't come back.

Every dish was delicious, the decor is beautifully rustic and cozy, and service was great. They were accomodating and interactive with the children as well, though they didn't have a children's menu

Absolutely brilliant ! My husband and I have been here a few times and we cannot recommend it enough ! Absolutely delicious food and top notch service. When you're inside the restaurant if you don't look outside you can convince yourself your actually in Italy!! Amazing place.

Feel bad giving this 3 stars as we had a great evening but I'm unsure. Very friendly attentive staff but it seemed as though this was because they were trying to rush us to order and hurry up, I rate quick service but it became too pressured. Nice menu options and the food was fine, just not stand out in any way. There was a good atmosphere and the restaurant was a comfortable place to be.

Run by aggressive people who treat their staff awfully. You only have to look at the lowest reviews to see evidence of the aggression and rudeness towards customers. The owner often lies, and this has been noticed by some customers. I can guarantee any problem will or has been blamed on the servers behind the scenes, even if they like to state they treat them equally. It's always overbooked, and while a restaurant is expected to be busy, booking even more people to a point where the small group of servers are overworked and hurried is not good for them or the customers, only the money. I would advise supporting elsewhere.

Solid restaurant with a wide choice of authentic Italian dishes. Large portions but shown in the price. Decent wine but not cheap. Good ambience, even midweek, Service up to scratch but there's a 10% charge on the bill.

Really enjoyed the spaghetti pescatora, it's super delicious! 🍝 We also had Panna cotta and tiramisu which were also on point 🍮 Plus, the owner was really friendly.

Absolutely fantastic, the food was amazing, the staff attentive and covid safe. I cannot rate this place highly enough 6 stars at least. My new favourite restaurant! And we aren't easy to please.

Based on my humble opinion:4/5 based on the food.5/5 based on the table service.5/5 based on the whole experienceI like the aura of this restaurant, great service ❤️. Reasonable price for a big portion. The food was served in a moderate speed. (30min for appetiser, 25min for main course)The seafood are fresh, I love it ❤️ However, the taste of the food was a little bit unbalanced. For Agnello Aromatico, it's a little bit too salty. And for Spaghetti Pescatora, it's blend. (The spaghetti didn't absorb the taste of the sauce)For dessert, I ordered a Profieroles. Extremely nice! With good presentation ❤️. Thank you.
