Walnut Tree Shades in Norwich

Tucked away off the main routes but not to be missed. The food offering beats the bigger brand 'High Street' eateries. When we visited Norwich for the second/third time we ensured we returned here and have recommended our family who live closer to Norwich than us to go here too. Friendly cheery staff, authentic city pub keeping the traditional pub vibe alive.

Excellent pub, excellent landlady, excellent sounds!

Nice building and cosy inside but almost ignored by the bar woman in there. Loads of people came to the bar after me and served first. Wasn’t that busy so couldn’t understand why it was so complicated. Not sure I’ll be going back.

Great food, friendly staff, good beer, fantastic atmosphere. What's not to love. A very sociable pub. Will be even better when they can once again have live music.
