Lovely place for a pint or two, lovely warm welcome from the bar staff, a fantastic selection of ciders and some lovely ales to enjoy 🍺 my new fav.

After being told by many how good the beer and food was, we finally made it for a Sunday roast with friends and their kids. From the very first moment walking through the door, we were given such a warm welcome from the staff, as this continued throughout, including interaction with the children and allowing them to have fun whilst in the pub rather than being restricted. Food was absolutely delicious, both roast and dessert, and amazing value for money. Great selection of cask ales, including lots of local breweries. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.

The friendliest staff and the best home-cooked pub food I’ve had for years. Sunday roasts are a particular highlight as are the constantly evolving specials. Cute, traditional little pub tucked away on Oak Street.

Came in for a roast today with some friends. We were blown away! The roast was incredible, one of the best we've had in a very long time! The service was spot on too, very friendly staff. Will 100% be returning!

What a superb Sunday roast and for less than you pay at most other pubs.Fresh ingredients, large portions, good variety of vegetables and loads of gravy.The staff are friendly and professional.

Food was so tasty, we had the roast, excellent value for money. Serving staff were really friendly & attentive. All tables etc, were well set up for social distancing from other diners. Overall a lovely dining experience, & would recommend on the service alone😊
