Found this Bar when just exploring Norwich. How pleased I was 😋 great range of Ales and Cider comfortable outside seating with smoking zone . Staff very polite and helpful , Ladies loo clean . Sadly, did not have time to enjoy their interesting menu. Definitely wish to return. Locals most amiable 🤣🤫

Excellent Sunday lunch will be even better when staff stop wearing masks and you can stand at the bar.

A nice selection of beer, food looked nice although we only had chips, and was served by a really pleasant friendly chap. Shame we had to catch a train otherwise would've stayed longer.

Great place. The outdoor gazebo is super cool, and the vibe and atmosphere is super fun. The servers are lovely, a bit slow but to be expected on a Saturday night. Would reccomend for a visit, the food looks great but can't comment is it tastes good !!

Classic city centre pub. Fantastic situation. Terrific views of the cathedral. Favourite pub window seat in England. Good food. Fast service, well cellared fine range of ales. Wine selection thought out and value. All round top pub? In top 5 in Norwich! Tented pavilion on the Plain outside works well in current crazy conditions. Hopefully soon to go!

Last minute choice for Sunday lunch. Service was exceptional with table service and hello with an allergy. Real ales on tap. Roast dinner looked great. Steak and ale pie very moreish. Desserts were even better - rhubarb and apple crumble had a toasty crunch topping and smooth custard.Excellent value for money.Highly recommended. We will be going back!
