ZAKS Mousehold Diner in Norwich

Absolutely brilliant meal and service. Best ribs I have tasted for a long time. No complaints from any of the eight of us. Thank you.

We have never been here before and we booked this last minute online for a 12th birthday, it was a party of 8 with 5 children. The food was absolutley amazing...we couldn't fault it! Our 2 year old ate everything (after we'd cut it up) and the rest of the kids loved everything, and the portion sizes were brilliant for the children...even the older ones were impressed! The waitress (unfortunately we didn't get her name) was brilliant, she was so attentive and was just bluntly, completely on the ball, we didn't have to wait, yet we weren't rushed. It was just a fantastic experience, and we've done nothing but recommend since. We will definitely be coming back...we have another pre teen birthday next month, and our son has already asked if we can go and celebrate here. Brilliant! Fantastic! Awesome! Spot on! 🙂👍

We went to Zaks Mousehold just after New Year for a family lunch. The place is great, lovely setting, up on a hill surrounded by dense beautiful woodland yet easy to get to (20min walk from the city). It's a quirky cool building, the decor inside is American Diner crossed with retro canteen and it works.But that's not what makes it really good. That's down to the the staff who are friendly, happy and attentive, the service excellent throughout and the food, there were 9 of us so a combo of burgers, ribs, chicken wings and the like were all fantastic. Actually fantastic. Drinks selection is really good too! Beers, cocktails, soft drinks etc etc.Adults and kids loved the whole experience and can't wait to get together again and go back.Highly recommended if you want a really great food with a fantastic diner type experience at a diner type price.Everyone at Zaks Mousehold, thanks for a great lunch. During lockdown, we come here and got take out and ate in the car. We usually eat at the Zaks in poringland but this seemed a lot nicer. The salad in the burger was a lot fresher. And the portion size seemed larger too. Only issue was having to phone our order through which wasn’t really that much of an issue.

Had lunch with family at Mousehold for the first time in about 20 years! Loads of memories, The place still looks amazing and the staff were lovely. Menu is really big and great if you are veggie or vegan :) Will be back soon!

First time at Zaks, and popped in spontaneously for dinner a couple of days after Christmas.Staff were able to seat us immediately, were friendly and attentive too.Portions were huge, I couldn’t eat all mine and I can eat! Burger was lovely, and was asked how we’d like them cooked. Coleslaw was lush! Had chocolate ice cream scoops for pudding, would recommend a different flavour or a proper pudding as it wasn’t very chocolatey. However, it’s nice that it’s from another local business too. Partner’s pudding looked really nice and he enjoyed it.Nice impromptu experience. The only downside was being sat under the stairs, where kids were stomping up and down them. Otherwise a great experience and would go again.

My favourite restaurant, staff are always friendly and really helpful. During these tough times you are made to feel safe. The food is always amazing and brilliant size portions, very good value for money

A really nice hidden space in the woods just outside Norwich centre. You can get decent meals at reasonable prices. It's offers a range of meals, mostly burgers that will fill you up. Its not the best burger place, but you wont leave hungry. It also has seating inside and out and has a reasonable size car park, with other parking in the area if needed.

Haven't been here for a long time and don't plan to leave it so long next time! Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, nice size portions too.

Family dinner out for my daughter's birthday! Absolutely amazing setting, decorated out with old American memorabilia! The menu is extensive and lots to choose from. You can add extras or remove from your meal. The staff are really friendly and eager to help and make your visit a memorable one. The portion sizes are always plentiful, excellently cooked and very satisfying! Will definitely come back again ❤
