ZEN Chinese and Thai Takeaway in Norwich

Had the salt and pepper box last night. Was hands down the best in norwich. This place is place is a million times better since the new owners have taken over. Can't wait to order again

Haven't been more happy with the food. My first order from here was beyond expectation. I live quite far from the restaurant and I have ordered a delivery. The food was piping hot. Ordered roasted duck and it was perfect, no fat and well balanced high quality ingredients. Definitely ordering again.

Overpriced, undercooked, and terrible quality food.Ordered from them last night and had an awful experience. We ordered the Chef Special Roast Duck and Pork, and Crispy Shredded Beef in Chilli Sauce. The Chef Special had about 7 small slices of meat in a tub filled with beansprouts for £6.50, and was undercooked. The Crispy Shredded Beef had NO ACTUAL BEEF and was just shreds of batter; we cut them open and there was no beef inside.

Was very disappointed when Zen shut down. Kam Moon is not the same. Food is overall worse and with the recent price rise it’s just not worth it. Better off going to Take Thai down the road, far better and cheaper.

Wasn't expecting much from my last visit when the previous management were here. Under the new management, it's more organised and the meals are tasty and are quick to prepare.

We ordered from here on a Sunday (so they probably weren’t overly busy) we thought we’d try somewhere new and this place had good reviews on just eat, and wasn’t too far so we could collect. The food was ready super quick, and was honestly delicious, I’m quite fussy when it comes to a Chinese takeaway cause it’s not my first choice, but we ordered a range of Thai and Chinese dishes and it was all really tasty, i also saw they had a good range of vegetarian dishes (quorn and tofu not just vegetables) which you don’t see so often. Overall both of us were very happy and we will definitely be ordering again.

So much better under new management.Mega box is a bargain.

Boil or deep fry your own meat and onions, and add a pinch of Chinese five spice. I've just saved you £20 and a lot of disappointment.

Great selection of veggie dishes, we just placed an order for various tofu, Quorn and vegetable dishes and everything arrived quicker than expected, was really tasty and piping hot on arrival! Very happy and was really good value too, will definitely order from here again

Ordered through Just Eat. Extremely quick. Food was fresh, hot and very delicious. In the photo is a mix of our choice.. bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, Thai rice amongst other things that were equally delicious. Would definitely order again.
