East Oriental Restaurant in Peterborough

Good food, great atmosphere. Really good location with out side seating area if you want to carry on the party after your meal. Staff really let this place down with their poor service. Maybe it's just cause they're so busy but really stood out to me. 1 example - "Hi, we have a table booked for 9" guy points and mumbles take a seat without even looking at us. One other customer clearly wasn't getting it and had to be told 3 times to take a seat and wait. A little embarrassed, felt sorry for him.

Great food at a great price, friendly staff and a lively setting. Well worth the visit

We visited tonight as a large group of friends. Unfortunately the restaurant couldn't fit us in but advised us to reserve an area in the bar downstairs. They went out of their way to accommodate us, bringing food downstairs and the food was amazing. Thank you to Dougie and the serving staff for looking after us so well.

Me and my partner went here for the first time a few weeks ago.We had the best experience. Staff were amazing and took the time to have a chat and joke with us. The man who I believe was floor manager or owner was walking around chatting with everyone. The food was next to none it was the best food I’ve ever tasted, hats off to the chief. They gave us a window seat and the views were lovely. The food was bought out and displayed in front of us lovely so gave a bit more of a five star experience. Felt very high end. You could hear charters music but we went quite late so we expected this! I think it added to the ambience.Over all a very good experience and we will be going again!

What a fantastic place and marvellous Thai food.

East is an amazing place for Oriental styles of cuisine. This place is an absolute gem 💎 cannot stress enough. The ambience and portion sizes are great. The food will just make you go wow!!. The homemade coconut icecream is the best I've ever eaten. The service is perfect they give you time and space but at the same time very attentive. Be (don't know if I got her name spelling right) is a standout. A must visit place while in Peterborough. Good food lovely location and very good service.

Not been in a few years, but I forgot how good this place was. Great service, nice atmosphere and super tasting food. Everything was delicious and good sized portions. Highly recommend

Nice mixed Asian restaurant with Chinese, Thai and Japanese dishes! Service was fast and staff were friendly and professional. Also the first time I've eaten on a boat!

Had a lovely evening here. The place is very nice and clean. The staff is great and the food is just delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be back. Had the rice noodles with chicken and it was mouthwatering. 🤤

We love this restaurant, we come here as often as we can and today was first day open inside after lockdown 2021. It did not disappoint for my mum in laws 70th birthday, the staff we so amazing and on time and onto every order even after such a long time off. They managed to hide the cake and then come out and sing happy bday at the perfect time, cannot thank them enough for making this special after a tough year. The food as usual so nice and authentic, I’m vegetarian and we got a mix of meat for the others and veggie for me. They did a tofu pad Thai (they are amazing at doing a tofu dish for everything) which I absolutely love. Highly recommend coming here for the food and atmosphere.
