When supporting a local business goes wrong!My partner ordered online for our family, and unfortunately, a part of the order was cancelled without an initial explanation. We attended the shop shortly thereafter to pick up the part of the order that was accepted. I, as my order had been cancelled, asked if I could order anything else from the menu whilst I was in the shop, only to be told very abruptly, “NO!” My response was calm, although slightly bemused, by the negative attitude, I mentioned that I will just have to eat from somewhere else in that case then, only to receive a reply of “that’s not my problem is it?” I was very confused and didn’t really know what to say back from this point, and therefore, instructed the ‘owner’ to please cancel the entire order and process a refund, to which he agreed he would. Shortly thereafter, he called my partner signalling that he will not be refunding the order and that “if we have a problem with it then we should come back to the shop”. Slightly threatening and embarrassing behaviour we thought.I must add that I have previously had pleasant experiences when buying food from this business, and most notably from my time in the ARMY RESERVES regiment located just around the corner the shop in fletton. We have placed plenty of bulk orders and I would just like to know if the owner has any respect for not only civilian customers, but also for a military veteran?

Quality food and excellent service. This is the go to place for Fish and Chips! Never a disappointment, keep up the good work.

All three kebabs were cold one had some grey looking sauce over it that tasted revolting will never order again very disappointed

Doner Kebab, I received meat on a dough soaked in fat, a few pieces of onion, a slice of tomato and two slices of cucumber are placed on top, four pieces of lettuce and no garlic sauce. What I received looks completely different than what the restaurant advertises in the photos. The filling should be in a dough or a bun, and in my order, the kebab dough served as a plate or a saucer. One star for the good taste of meat and quantity although it could be much less greasy.

Probably one of the last decent chippies in Peterborough. Definitely recommend ordering from here. The lads provide great customer service and last time I went, even offered some traditional home made curry dishes.... ❤

Amazing fish and chips. Been a regular here for a while and have never been let down. The owner is extremely friendly and no request is too small for him. Food has always been freshly cooked and on point. My only go to for fish and chips!
