Had a great breakfast here, really good value for money with a great selection, great for kids too! had such a warm welcome from Maria & Louise, they went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even asked if we had any allergies, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Stayed at ferry meadows caravan and motor home site. Booked reservation over the phone and received confirmation by text. Only a short walk to the restaurant. Served by Carole H. Amazing service and very helpful. She accommodated my very fussy son with a meal that he would eat. Can’t praise her and the team enough! The food was really tasty and plenty of it. Thank you x

Brilliant meal for the family on Mother’s Day. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and a welcoming environment. Our 3 year old granddaughter ate all her food, which is very unusual, and really enjoyed it. Big thank you to all the staff for an excellent meal to celebrate a special day.

We have just had a really lovely meal at the Granary. Excellent service and food. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Charli S was very welcoming, polite and friendly.

Meal excellent 20min wait for food to be cooked and considering nearly all tables full very good. Waitress Emma was great but rushed off feet so left a good tip. Very friendly and chef talks in the background and it sounds like Mr bean talking so was amusing too 😁

Hmm... where to start....We waited 5 minutes until some one came up to us and sat us down - it wasn't busy, staff just walking around or standing and talking together...When taking orders everything was ok until we wanted to order dessert and the lady interrupted us and said that order for dessert will take later on, quite rude. Any other Beafeater restaurant- they took all order at once - just to make easier for themselves.Starters ok, kids meal came with the starters so thats great but the meal for the kid itself was quite disappointing. We took kids pizza and it wasn't worth the price. Pizza was just awful-reheated in microwave, sides ok but not great. A small tip -order a burger - at least burger patty will be great 👍With our order - cooked to requested temp, however- the steaks - a lot of fat on the sides and instead of 100% of meat after tmcutting fat from the sides - 60-70% of steak left... not really happy with the price for that...Staff seems to be with a can't be bothered attitude, unfortunately all of them.So when we finished our meals - was waiting like 10 min for any member of staff to pass by to finally get our dessert order. After that time I went on a lovely journey to find member of staff. When I found them - they all were standing in a circle and chatting to each other! How ridiculous that sounds?! And again there was maybe 4-5 table all together with us - and there were around 5-6 members of staff- and just the waiters.Overall - not recommending, go somewhere else if you want quality and service on at least decent level.

A pre-Christmas family gathering of 11 adults, 6 children and a baby. Good festive meals on offer but it was fine to mix with the regular menu. The food was good - didn't hear a single complaint! Service was exemplary and I sincerely hope the right people read this and are proud of their staff and management. Finally (of course) the bill arrived..... and that was also a pleasant experience as we all thought it was very good value.

Well that was an interesting meal out... Just got glutened at a Beefeater.Annoying because I said I was GF when booking, asked for the allergen booklet before ordering, reminded the server when ordering to make sure all food was gf.... Then in the middle of my starter I found gluten! In their credit, the server got the manager straight away. He contacted his general manager to investigate why the error had happened. They said they are going to ring me tomorrow to see how I am... And the entire bill was complimentary.Bad it happened, but good how seriously they took it.Tomorrow is an important day so I hope I'm not too ill!
