Jenas Tandoori Restaurant in Peterborough

The restaurant is now open after a few months of just take away or delivery meals. It was great to see all the familiar faces. I had a lovely meal with two friends and we were not disappointed. Thank you to Jena Restaurant team.

All of the food here is fantastic. But they do the best chicken shashlik, and as it's my favourite dish I have tried it in most other restaurants and Jena's is by far the best.

Out of most of the Indian restaurants in peterborough, this one is the best. Food is amazing, dont need to say much more. My favourite is one of the chefs specials.... butter chicken. Hmmm would recommend to anyone.

Ordered food and one dish was missing when it arrived still insisted I pay it for it even though mistake was on their side will not be using them again wasn't the best indian will stick to Who I know next time very disappointing with the taste as well.

Absolutely fabulous . After being on lockdown in Spain unable to get a ferry we've dreamed about a "Jena's" It certainly lived up to our expectations. Brilliant . Thanks to Abdul,Ali, Jabba and the rest. Good to be back. Carol and Lyn

I do not, on principle, trust Indian restaurants that don't give you the option to adjust the spice level of their dishes. Ones that do are surprisingly difficult to come by in this area, so finding one that actually allowed me to chose how spicy I wanted my Butter Chicken to be on Just Eat was a pleasant surprise. The food arrived approximately 15 minutes early, was clearly freshly cooked and made with good-quality ingredients. If I was asked to find fault with anything, I'd say maybe the Onion Bhajis were a bit very oily, but that didn't stop them from being really, really tasty.

Thank you Jena for a delicious meal that was delivered in good time. We ordered a chicken shaslick, Methi Gosht, Bindi Bhaji, pilau rice, chapati and plain Nan. Everything was cooked to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Special thanks to Jabaal, your personal touch meant a lot and we are very grateful

Cancelled our Just Eat order at the time the food should have been delivered. When asked, they hadn't even begun to make the food. No option for us to go and collect instead. Poor service.

Last week, Tuesday 1st May 2018, my friend and I met up to arrange a forthcoming holiday. We chose Jenas as we have both eaten there on and off over the years and my friend still orders take away.A phone call in advance to book a table wasn’t necessary and we were told just to turn up.We arrived and we told that they were not serving alcohol,(possibly no license), which was not an issue as we are not great drinkers anyway.Throughout the evening the restaurant was totally empty barr us, which is a shame considering the number of tables and taking into account that it was such a vibrant place in the past.We ordered our food, starters and main.Despite the fact that the restaurant has obviously had it’s problems in recent years I am delighted to say that the food was really very good, there was plenty of it and at a very reasonable price.I would award the food 4.5 stars, unfortunately the lack of atmosphere let’s the place down dramatically, which is why I only gave 3 stars,...BUT we did go on a Tuesday, so there’s a good chance it will be better on a weekend?Fingers crossed the owners will be able to turn it round.

Wow! Wow and Wow! The food was amazing at Jena's, service was fantastic and the staff where very warm, friendly and attentive. This is my new favourite Tandoori so you will be seeing me and my family here very often 😊
