Staff in the cafe (13:20 12th of April) just went above and beyond to help me after I made a mistake with my order. Excellent customer service!

Great food and service. I do my weekly shop here and they always have good availability. Staff are always happy to help.

My wife and I use this shop at least twice a week because it is very clean and has a fantastic selection of quality foods. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. We have also used the café regularly but after our visit on the 4/11/19 we felt we must praise the lady who served us with our teas and toasty. Her name was Vivienne. She was an extremely pleasant lady who even warmed our tea cups up. A very pleasant place to shop and eat/drink in.

Once a year i go to M&S for our Christmas food (nice to have some posh food occasionally) and always shop at my local in Kings Lynn but found out the food hall at Peterborough was much bigger so decided to go there instead.Arrived shortly after doors opened at 7am and it was already busy with a few people barging in or nudging others out of the way.Didn't find everything i wanted (several items from the TV ad simply weren't stocked, now or later) and there were acres of fresh fruit and veg crowding the entrance and first part of the shop (which by the way is far better quality and way cheaper elsewhere), but there was a decent selection of items and staff were filling shelves as they emptied.Probably won't go back next year as not worth the extra miles for just a few items i couldn't get locally.

Such a shame. Nice store, nice produce. Fantastic valentines meal deal, then it all goes horribly wrong.Despite being very busy, only one till is open and 6 people waiting! Against my better judgement I opt for the self service check out. No wonder M&S are in trouble. A simple bag of shopping requires 5 interventions from an assistant to clear problems with the bag, security tag on the steak, alcohol approval, bag again and then problems with card payment. When are the overpaid morons that run these companies going to realise that their unique selling point is customer service and so forcing customers to serve themselves on machines that are not up to the job is a recipe for disaster.Another company that has perfected snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Sort your act out M&S management or you will be going the same way as the dinosaurs.

Tony at Serpentine Green store was friendly and happy to hand me my order at the collection point. Had a lovely cup of latte coffee there, though could have been a tad hotter. Love shopping there. Friendly staff and fresh groceries. Regards Janis Barrs.

Probably the worst M&S foodhall I have ever visited.Tiny selection of food. On a busy Sunday only one till open, operated by a trainee under supervision, despite a queue of eight people and three unopened cash registers. Not due to lack of staff as there were plenty on the shop floor.Coffee shop little better. Only one person serving and preparing drinks / food orders. Two others milling around doing nothing discernable and again a queue waiting for service.Staff pleasant enough but clearly an appalling management team who have no concept of customer service.

Well back again, food standard incluy presentation - experience, was of a normal quality, found in any cafe. The high expectations of quality is no longer present, and you'll need a coat to keep warm in winter, and keep a coat in the summer as well.lol.M & S heating is controled by head office, they turn it up or down centrally. The shop can't control this. They've been cost cutting the experience and quality, I order a tuna sweetcorn jacket potato, well watched the cafe attended count the tomoato and cucumber slices out before preparing the salad, they still serve to the table - thank you, however you could tell everthing had been well measured - food looked "skinny" or anaemic. Wasnt served with some French dressing in a small bowl.I think the poor experience was capped off when the staff came out and squeezed French dressing on my salad, even though I wanted to put the dressing were I wanted it on my food - which is a normal thing to do. However the staff member explained that this is new company policy. All of this reminds me of a episode of Ian Beale cafe in Eastenders. What next staff coming out to poor milk in my tea, it seems a store like M&S are desperate to make profit by compromising quality. I'll go to the local cafe next time 😂
