My daughter had a vegetarian chicken meal, It looked like it had been reheated and was like trying to cut through a piece of rubber, very little taste and no bbq sauce with it as per description. She left most of it, we tried it and it was horrible. Not sure if chef wanted to go home or what but would have been better shutting up rather than serve that, very poor. Based on that we wouldn't go there again for food.

Most items missing eg. Maple syrup no pancakes. No teaspoons, rude service from one staff member eho made it clear she didnt want to be there and was coughing and spluttering.Toaster was terribly slow. However cooked breakfast was good and worth the money

Extremely poor service today, I understand it was Mother's day & a busy day but I recommend the management should only commit to taking bookings that they have enough staff to cover. Food wait time was extremely poor. We arrived at 5pm. Hour & half wait for our food once I'd had to ask how much longer it would take to come out. No information on food delays when we arrived. For a table of 4 people this seemed very poor. First drinks order also took 15/20 minutes to arrive. 2nd round of drinks I actually had to go to the bar & ask where they were and collected them myself.Vegetables forgotten of my husband's plate when they asked what veg he wanted when ordered his meal. Food quality on all four meals was poor. Considering this was a mother's day treat for my mum who lives in Peterborough & me and my husband had travelled from Norwich to join my mum & dad. I found the whole experience a huge let down & only enjoyed my family's company. The food and service was a massive disappointment. Couple of the staff members were apologetic & polite regarding the bad service & poor food quality but I certainly won't be returning to this table table branch at the Paul Pry. Very disappointed as was a mother's day treat. Only 1 star today sadly.

Excellent value for money for both the evening meals and breakfasts. Jan did a marvelous job with her table service. Thank you. We'll be back.

Good way to wind up or down after a long day of training. Glad this spot is adjacent to my hotel earlier this week. Nice staff, good food. Staff recommended Raspberry Gin (for which I had a double) with Mediterranean Tonic served with the Chocolate and Raspberry Torte, yum yum.

Most probably the worst steak I have had in a long time. The rump was served warm at best and had the texture of a shoe sole despite being medium rare. I asked for the steak with Diane sauce which they forgot and then turned up with Peppercorn suace! The chips were dry and it felt like an inconvenience asking for some salt. The customer service was unfortunate, no apologies from the staff. The only thing keeping an establishment like this alive is the fact it is attached to a Premier Inn if it were not Paul Pry would definitely be closed with much better smaller pubs offering better food close by.Furthermore due to supplier issues 13 items were unavailable including two christmas items. Definitely not worth the price

Only gave the one star because I had to so as to review, this place does not deserve one star, my wife and I decided to give the Paul Pry a visit for Sunday lunch. The food was served cold and very Sparse, we complained to the waitress who took the food away with apologies only to return about 3 minutes later with the exact same food that had been heated up In a microwave! The Steak looked like shrivelled up beef burgers it was all dry and looked awful, our chips looked sparse and our plates were red hot from the microwave. We rejected the food and went back into the bar to finish our drinks, and to our horror we watched a barmaid smelling all the wine measure cups right up to her nose!! At the best of times that would have been un hygienic, but in a covid Pandemic!! Disgusting!!!

Awful food, bad atmosphere. Steak was more like a fisherman's boot sole, and chips were more like toe nail clippings.
