Tavan in Peterborough

We love coming here, there is always friendly staff, easy parking and tasty food . I really enjoyed the mixed meze and the chicken.

Mixed shared starter was good. My kebab was good but my husbands tagine was well below par with lots of shredded pita on top to mask the thin gravy, toms n kebab lamb, obvs not cooked in a conventional tagine pot. When we commented told that's how it is! 😟N never the word sorry hmm 🤔 Wine n beer was really good.

Amazing authentic food! Will be coming back!

Restaurant Tavan was a fantastic experience for us. The food was delicious and the portions really big. We were looked after by professionals who made us feel very welcome. The environment is cosy.A unique place to visit.

Good service, clean, comfortable food very tasty, every time we have been, even for lunch. I cant remember names of dishes unfortunately. I will try to find photos.

Been a little busy with the pup, so bit of a late post. Had dinner at Tavan Moroccan & Turkish cuisine at Peterborough. Unfortunate they don’t have #instagram. The food was simply beautiful delicately spiced as full flavours . Very nice ambience and attentive staff. Food was served pretty fast.Definitely a place we would visit again. If your in the area it’s must try.

I ordered tavan feast for 2 , paid over 50£ , and received- fish and chips with little bit of rice and couscous, few piece chicken one bone and piece of kebab . Desser half apple, half Orange one pear and few bits something else. It was last time when I ordered something in this place.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing and fresh. We especially enjoyed the meat platter with Turkish beer followed by a delicious special desert and Turkish tea. The staff also were very friendly and professional.
