The Golden Pheasant in Peterborough

Fantastic place to eat, would highly recommend it there. Took a party of 13 people and all the food came out at the same time, hot and all cooked perfectly. The desserts were freshly made and tasted amazing. The service was impeccable and really can't fault them.

Been twice..was there Sunday 20th march..Sunday roast was to die for..probably the best I've had lashing of gravey..my only gripe was needed more roast potatoes as they are soooo good 3 wasn't enough...and strawberry cheese cake for dessert wow..the owners really know how to cook and so friendly and welcoming I go to Peterborough 3-4 times a year I will visit for a roast every time..so if your in area its a must.

Good honest food. Wooden tables. Not cosy. Apparently attempting the wine bar look. Probably falls between 2 stools. Is it a pub or restaurant?

Great location-overlooks lovely fields, great drinks-good selection of lager and ales and great food-good quality pub grub, perfect country pub, looking forward to our next visit!

Visited in April 2021 just after pubs reopened. Had a lovely time sat in the garden with a nice pint. Didn't try the food but looked on with envy at other tables as it looked fantastic. Only thing I didn't love was the music playing out during the afternoon on a Sunday which was a bit too much of a party vibe for a quiet Sunday but I suppose the kids like it :)

Absolutely fantastic food, it’s a shame we live so far away. We went three times in one week and we will definitely be back next year.

Very friendly, good food and a warm welcome. Great place for a large rib eye steak or my favourite the mixed grill. Chef took the time to visit each table and ask how the food was. Will definitely be going back. We were a party of seven, having starters, main course and deserts, the service was very good.
