The Gourmet Bus in Peterborough

Food was good... Went for a family meal. Had my young son with me. There was constant swearing (F word constantly) from the kitchen. Even after telling them, it continued. Its not what customers (and kids) want to hear on a meal out. They'd ran out of chilli sauce. To top it off the card payment machine was not working. Terrible experience.

I’m a vegan and loved the veggie burger ( vegan if you bring your own bun). We really loved the care and attention to detail of the owner too. Great bus, great burgers!

Great food, best in town, service was sooo quick. Milk bar milkshake was the best I’ve EVER had!! This is THE PLACE!

Great venue. Seated on the, impressively luxurious, top deck of a bus being served great burgers and fantastic chips. Awesome milkshake completes the meal. The BBQ New Yorker is highly recommended.

Went with my wife and loved it yet again. Clean, well-maintained bus with great service. Best burger I've had in a while and even better got free tubs of ice cream; compliments of the owner.

The best burgers around! Freshly cooked and seasoned, not overdone but they always cook it medium unless you ask for it rare or well-done. The burgers alone are a great snack but chips make it a full meal.Milkshakes don't quite match the online photos but still taste great although a bit expensive for what you get.Overall it's a great bite to eat and well worth a visit.

On a busy Saturday night the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the seating and the service team really made us welcome. We will definitely return as we were too full for waffles. Must experience.

Heard about the Gourmet Bus from a friend and decided to go try it. Was pleasantly surprised by the nice decor of the bus inside with nice and clean tables and cool lighting. After going through the menu we went for Mexicano and Bus Stopper burgers. They were absolutely delicious and very filling even though initially I thought the portions might be a little smaller. Buns were nice and soft, beef patty was moist, juicy and beautifully cooked. Jalapeños and crushed doritos in the Mexicano burger was a delightful touch. Bus stopper was a big bugger in terms of how many different items were layered inside but still very tasty. All in all it was a very happy experience and I'm definitely 100% going back there and will take my family and kids there too next time.

Friendly staff and good service. I ordered the gormout classic and chips; the burger was very tasty and obviously handmade. Will definitely return.
