Fantastic service, really made to feel welcome. Full English breakfast was marvelous, great local produce, real value for money. Will definately return again in future.

Called in with friends for coffee it wasn't a good experience sitting in a freezing cold marquee which had no heating! Other people were coming in but no one around to serve them so soon left,I don't know how you expect you staff to work in those conditions. I will certainly not be recommending or returning

On entering the tent, we found it very cold with no heating. There were picnic benches out which we sat at. The waitress appeared within 4 minutes to take our order and we said we weren't ready yet. She just stood there and did not move. Then we saw people coming out of a door way marked no admittance. They said there was a table available in there. Still no heating but we were in a slightly warmer room. We found the waitress very unhelpful and no offer of condiments. The toilet facility is unmarked and not easy to identify. When waiting to pay, the waitress carried on chatting to some people leaving us to wait. The food was ok

Friendly little place serves breakfast until 11.45am. Did a little vegetarian breakfast, and a surprisingly good flat white.Super friendly staff too. They seemed a little short staffed so took a while for the breakfast to be served up but it was clear that wasn't due to a lack of trying. Suxh a pleasure to see a nice little local outfit like this trading.

Called in for lunch after seeing the Facebook page and pictures of tasty pork rolls.Sorry but it wasn't good. I know that things are different at the moment but some basics should still be expected.Ordered two pork rolls, one with chips and two coffee's to eat in the garden seating area. I was told that they would bring it all together.... HmmmAfter 15 minutes the pork rolls came out; and did not resemble the photo on Facebook.Both with a MASS of margarine type spread slapped on the inside. I scraped enough from the inside of the top of my roll to be able to 'butter' one or two other rolls. No sign of chips or coffee. The slices of roast pork didn't resemble the picture on the Facebook page.Mentioned that we ordered chips with one - apology received ... Then the wait.Finished the rolls then the coffee arrived but it was warm not hot. Finished the coffe - nice but would have been better served hot and when the food came.Then the chips turned up. 9 chunky chips, no salt or sauceiffered or avaikable, in the smallest polystyrene takeaway container. Chips were good but very very small portion, delivered after we had finishedtherest if the meal.It wasn't worth the money (£17).Having been told it would all come out together I would have expected that. The thick layer of margarine slapped on the roll showed a lack of care of interest. Tepid coffee isn't great. Forgotten chips which then come out as a tiny portion is very poor.I'm sorry but that's my honest opinion.What I will say it's that my past experience of the garden centre and butchers/farm shop have been good.

A great farm cafe with tasty wholesome food.From a cup of tea (comes in a proper tea pot) with cake through to great home cooked meals to fill you right up. Most of the food is locally sourced. Great service too.We go out of our way to eat here, recommend!

Best breakfast in the area, sizes for every appetite, including a decent vegetarian option, with extras such as black pudding to add to your order.Expect a little wait as everything is cooked to order, but enjoy one of their excellent coffees in the meantime.

Have to agree with earlier reviewer. Great breakfasts, served with real sausages AND black pudding. Cooked to order so allow a short wait but its worth it. Pleasant staff too and when you're finished try the butchers next door, as butchers once were and should be.
