The Harvester in Peterborough

The Duty Manager and our server Vicky were great, but the salad server was very tight with his portions, and had his thumb on a piece of cucumber. Are the being served by someone and the tiny bowls part of cost saving measures? They can hardly be Covid-related with no masks being worn. The floor was dirty too.

Went for lunch after a shopping trip. The manager was very friendly and charming and explained where the salad bar was and the current procedure for using it. Massive portion of salad which was fresh and tasty. My husband ordered a mixed grill and everything was cooked perfectly. I had a burger which was very tasty and juicy! We both had dirty fries, the cheese sauce was delicious and the guac,salsa,chillies and sour cream on my Tex Mex fries was lovely. Very happy with our visit and will return soon!

Just had a nice, easy lunch at Harvester Pavilions.Mark, our host, made us feel very welcome and completely relaxed. Food came rapidly and was hot and well cooked, and Mark always had time for a few words when he was passing.Meal for 3, (starters, mains and 2 rounds of drinks), came to a reasonable £59.If you need an easy, non formal meal I'd recommend...and for a Sunday lunchtime it was not that packed, so lots of room.

Absolutely amazing customer service! We went there for breakfast for my 3 year olds birthday and we enjoyed every single minute there all thanks to Mark and Jo! They didn’t stop making us laugh the whole time and made us feel so comfortable. I will definitely go back there again all thanks to these 2 amazing people! Plus the food was INCREDIBLE!

Beautiful setting, plenty of parking, easy to get to. On entering, we were shown to a table and menus were left. One of the menus was really sticky - got that changed and washed hands. The table was clean. Obviously with Covid, the salad bar was not self service, the waitresses now serve the salad and bread rolls for you whilst you choose what salad you would like. Went to order but the first two dishes chosen were not available. Food was quick to arrive but the rump steaks were quite fatty with lots of gristle. The onion rings were stone cold. Overall, we thought the ingredients were low quality, a poor experience which made us think that Harvester has gone downhill. Sad really.

I can honestly say that five stars isn't enough for the experience that I had there the other day. It was my first time going there since moving to the area and I took my nan, they have us a great table with easy access to everything for her walker. The food was well cooked. Tasted great and was served quickly and the highlight was the outstanding staff. They couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was great. I will happily go there again and again

Incredible service! Honestly the wait staff at this restaurant were spectacular, best I’ve ever seen in my life. Especially Daisy! The UK are pretty famous for having poor customer service but it was just the right mix of friendly but not over the top like in the US. The food was amazing as well, great value for money. Was expecting it to be way more expensive! And they have unlimited drinks refills with the different flavour syrups. 10/10, 5 stars, we visited on Monday and we’re coming back on Saturday!

Dropped in for a late breakfast and it was really good value with a friendly welcome. The unlimited drinks a great option too, allowing you to have tea, coffee, and juice. The eggs benedict and full breakfast were both top notch and nicely presented.

Great food at good prices. Daisy our server was very professional and a lovely young lady. 😊Went to Harvester again on 26th September to Celebrate my wife Laura's birthday, the food was great and we all had an amazing time, this was mainly due to Mark who made the evening very special 😋
