Absolutely lovely food, well presented by lovely staff. We love visiting here, never had a bad visit xxx

Always visit The Stage when we stay with friends in Market Deeping. After a walk by the river or a wander around the shops, we always stop here for a drink. Staff friendly and always a good atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit when we can sit outside by the river.

Visited for a family evening meal. Service was OK depending on which member of staff was visiting the table. Food I found to be average and nothing to get excited about. A fair price for what we got.

Good rooms and food with pleasant staff. But it's a town centre location so be prepared for a busy bar area on the weekend.

Spent an afternoon here catching up with a friend. Very nice chilled atmosphere. Great food, comfortable surroundings. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Food nice but pricey. 10 of us pre booked but tables not set up for 10 and bar staff miserable. Ushered out of restaurant as they were closing.

Unable to take our booking due to Covid regulations as we were coming from France. The hotel was messaged three times & I had no answer. Eventually I called but the hotel stuck to T&C when surely a deferred reservation was possible. I respect how difficult it is for this sector currently but this review is for poor customer service

Booked a table for 13 of us. Checked in advance as three vegan meals were needed. Was assured that a roast meal would be available with vegan sausages.However, when we got there, no such option was available. There were no vegan starters or desserts either. Two of our waitresses were themselves vegan and were embarrassed by the lack of options.Maybe the restaurant thinks it's not worth it for only one or two people, but next time our family eat out we will go elsewhere. So it isn't just one or two customers lost.It's a shame because the rest of the staff were lovely.

Love this hotel. Have stayed here a few times. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well looked after and equipped. Food delicious. Will be back. 👍

We called ahead to ask if there was a vegan option, they said that there was a roast dinner with vegan sausages. When we arrived, there was no vegan option and we were told that we couldn't have a vegan roast because the potatoes and gravy were not vegan. The only veggie option was a burger, we were told that this was vegan however it arrived with battered onion rings, which are clearly not vegan. The burgers were dry and overcooked, with no sauce, just plain. It's obvious that the chef is unwilling to join the 21st century, where some people do choose to not eat meat. It's totally unacceptable to have a single vegan main option (which isn't even vegan!) with no vegan starters or desserts. Even the waiting staff said that they thought this was unacceptable, and half of them were vegan themselves!The meat-eaters in the party said that the beef was rather dry, and that the desserts were better than the mains.
