Amazing food. Would recommend going at around 12 when the food is fresh. Our server was great too. We have one guest on crutches and we hadnt booked a table but he made sure to give us a table with plenty of room and check it was okay.

Great value for money. A good selection of food under the hot plate. Would advise to book to ensure space as the restaurant filled up quickly after 9.30 am on Sunday.

Probably the worst Toby carvery Ive visited. Food at best foodish, but really really urgh! Thankfully found a better place to eat for the rest of my stay at Peterborough.

Everything is great in Toby Carvery , the food tastes great, it’s comfortable and the staff are great except for the chef that cuts the meat. We are not a family that will complain in the restaurant, I think it’s up to the restaurant to get it right. My daughter asked for beef thinking the chef would get a new joint but all she got were the scraps and grisly and the next person got the fresh meat. I asked for ham and turkey and got one slice of ham and a slice of turkey with a few bits of scrap. I looked at him but he just stared through me. The rest of the food is delicious but it’s not the first time at Peterborough this has happened. Other Toby’s I never have a problem. This is why we usually go to other local restaurants to celebrate or have a meal.

Great food. We booked for half 8, we didn't realise that everything would be shut down by 9pm. The food was limited, no roast potatoes, 2/4 meats available. We weren't notified on arrival before we ordered drinks either, that the food was scarce. (Still charged full price)No complaints in terms of food, it was great! Good flavours. Staff were efficient enough. It was good for the very quick pit stop! We will come again to try it properly as most of the veg was gone too. Service slow despite being quiet and end of shift but they were all busy cleaning the food stations which were all cleaned down and cleared by 8.45 :)

We are regulars here and we absolutely love it. Great value breakfasts in the mornings and lovely roasts from lunchtime onwards! Staff always helpful and the food is great to. Get to Toby’s and support your local businesses during these tough times

Came for my anniversary dinner and the welcome was warm and friendly. Staff fantastic, Amir served us he is a very warm and friendly guy who is very good at his job. Manager was also very friendly. Food was delicious from 1st to last bite, will definitely come back again. Thank you for a very nice anniversary time

Food was the best meal out in a long time it was tasty and well cooked delicious with delightful pleasant service from staff. Drinks and desserts were great also. Very clean kept tables wiped down and spotless and staff could not do enough for you. Excellent will be back for more very soon as we all said how nice our meals were and it was excellent value for money . Thank you ***

We had the most amazing Christmas lunch at Toby Carvery, Peterborough. The service was great and the food was, as always, amazing! Lovely turkey and the most delicious, tender beef. The bloke who served us (Mario?) was so cheerful and attentive. Thanks for making our Christmas Day special x

I ordered camembert (for 2) as a starter and all I got was 3 strips of bread which was far from enough especially if another person was sharing this. My pork bap was dry, didn’t come with stuffing like it should have and was very poor. The roast potatoes were still hard and the yorkie was so oily and greasy.
