Large cod, medium cod, large chips. Had this once a week for the last six weeks and every time it’s been fantastic. Always good size pieces of fish and excellent batter. Great chips as well. Best fish and chips I’ve had for years. Highly recommended.

The fish and chips that we had from here yesterday was the best that we’ve had for a long time, and very reasonably priced as well.Recommended!

Excellent fish and chips. Fast and efficient service. We have used this place several times when staying on Ferry Meadows Caravan Club Site.

I have used this place for a few times now and always go back, the fish and chips are spot on I'm not that keen on their jumbo sausages they seem like a cheaper tasting one but other than that yes.

Four freshly cooked pieces of fish, 2 haddock and 2 cod, plus 2 large portions of chips, just under £28.00 the lot. Superbly cooked fish, perfect amount of batter and not a single bone to be found. Spot on supper! 1 star deducted for the cash only payment terms, as I'd arrived with nothing other than Garmin Pay and then had to cycle back the to campsite to collect a debit card to be able to draw cash from the hole in the wall.

Not the cheapest but plenty of food for your money. It's worth it, you definitely won't be hungry afterwards. Great tasting and cooked to perfectionThe owner is friendly and gives you a little beeper for when the foods ready so you can go shopping next door while waiting.

This is a personal opinion of course and I have purchased food here a few times but I find the chips saggy, if that is the right expression. I like my chips well cooked but here they are well under done for me. To be balanced they are big portions as were the number of onion rings I had however sadly these were greasy with very thin strips of onion in them. Cash only, come on sort this out.

Best fish and chips about, the fish is absolute beautiful not the usual inch thick batter and full of taste. The large chips were huge. Highly recommend.

We ordered fish and chips today, first time at this place and I can say that this place will from now on be my favourite fish and chips shop! The fish and chips were DELICOUS and very tasty, especially the fish! Finally a place where the fish has some good taste!!! Thank you Vivienne fish and chips. We will come back again!

My first thing is its cash only. I don't mind this but a couple of people arrived with cards only. There is a cashpoint to right of entrance by Tesco Extra. Food very fresh & therefore hot. U place order pay & then wait outside with beeper. Standard chips enough to feed a small family. Large sausage & chips £3.80. I have had better tastewise but I've also had much much worse. I will use it again. Staff very pleasant.
