Alexanders Fish and Chip Shop in Rochford

Have to wait a bit longer than other fish and chip shops but this is because they cook your fish while you wait. The cod is lovely and white and really tasty and beautifully cooked, the chips are great too, highly recommended. Update: Still all good, service and food great

If there was no Road works between hullbridge and the fish and chip shop near asda I wouldn't use Alexander's. They still can't cook chips, couldn't with the previous owners. Always a queue cos nothing ever ready. Now tried it again recently, won't bother for a few more years, in hope of improvements. Defo worth the drive to alternatives rather than Alexanders

Generally excellent fish and chips here but just a word of caution,don't go soon after opening time as you may end up with old previously reheated chips.Nice friendly staff too.

First couple of times I visited the food was good. Don't know why I bother any more. Tonight just another example of bad food. Chips need to be cooked longer and the ribs very dry would be an understatement. You could understand if it was cheap but there far from that.
