Great Wall in Rochford

Had a take away from Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Rochford was on time and hot .It was delicious will certainly go there again

We had a takeaway yesterday eve, delivery driver arrived pretty quick! He was very polite, very nice chap. The food was excellent 👌we will definitely use The Great Wall again! Barbara Close

Our family ordered a takeaway last night, for 10 people. Was told 50-60 mins, as we didn’t mind coming out for collection but was assured that it would be no longer than an hour. The food turned up 40 minutes late, so when we negotiated a discount they took the food away to throw it in the bin. Very bad attitude and was told that they have been there for 20 years and do not need our custom, this is the second time now this has happened. Always use to go, but will no longer be ordering or going to the Great Wall. Honesty is a big thing and we would rather have been told the truth about the wait. It is a shame to see what once was a very good restaurant/takeaway go for money and pride over a happy customer. Will not be recommending

Been using this Chinese for couple years and always been great but after not having it for a few months I decided to order and was very disappointed, food tasted bland and very salty, prices have increased which I understand but £3.60 for chips and from my picture what I received - tasted stale and like they have been cooked more than once. Also asked for prawn crackers which are normally free but got charged for them. Their menu does not show prices for all items either.

Been going here for years with my family. Always good food and good service!

Made an effort to order early asking for a delivery not before 7pm the food arrive at 6.35So 2 people missed the time to eat and one dish missing food was excellent as usual but poor service and guest missed the food being fresh very disappointed usually much better hope this doesn't happen again

Great food and cooked properly with loads of flavour. Good service and friendly staff. Need to book as very popular and small restaurant.

Ah, The Great Wall of Rochford. A big miss during these past 5 months or so. Good to be back in the usual pleasant atmosphere and excellent food as usual. Long may you continue.
