Miller & Carter in Rochford

We went for a mother's day lunch. The place was really nice and cosy. The food was lovely, quick service to. Only thing is they need to look at the dress code, it says smart no trainer's, but people we're wearing said items. It just would've been nice to know in advance, so we could have felt much more comfortable.Would go back and try it out again though.

Food was excellent, Chateaubriand.Could’ve done with a bigger table.Waitress was very nice although we felt pressured to leave a good review before leaving the premises, her ‘points’ seemed very important to her.We dressed according to the dress code only to find others wearing ripped jeans, hoodies and trainers!And as a more professional touch, a better quality or linen napkin would be better.

Staff were very helpful, especially since it was my first time. They understood their menu and were able to expand on the options which helped out alot and even offered recommendations.Venue was very clean, clean utensils and beautifully decorated

I was only speaking of reviews a couple of days ago with my missus about how I only leave them if the place is terrible... or amazing...I am happy to say that last night was my 30th birthday meal... and it was absolutely amazing.I had the 50 day aged Angus black bistro rump. It was exquisite. Beef dripping as the sauce I cannot recommend enough.The wedge of lettuce... so I haven't ever been here before, and mum told me about the lettuce.I actually really enjoyed it, and ate all of it.It's literally a 1/4 of an iceberg lettuce, with a choice of sauce on it. I had the Stilton and blue cheese... the bowl was cleaned 😃Thanks to Jake, our server. It was Sunday night, really busy, but he always had a smile, and kept checking whenever he could with us and the fellow guests.10/10 food10/10 serviceWould and will go again 😃

Food is always amazing and great menu options. Brilliant menu for gluten free guests and staff always so knowledgeable and friendly. Tonight was my birthday and everyone gave it the extra special touch with their service. Sharon was wonderful and made the whole night so lovely.

Went last night for the first time. Nice,cosy,warm ambience. Food and drink delicious,and very lovely staff all of who were polite,and attentive. I believe if memory serves me correctly we were served by Kyle who was just lovely! Great service and lovely restaurant. We will be back

Had a wonderful birthday meal here. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We had the steak sharing platter with 3 different steaks. Chef even split each steak to cook to each of our tastes.The restaurant really made my night by making me a birthday dessert and singing Happy Birthday to me ( Thank you 😊)All in all it was a fantastic evening and wholeheartedly recommended.

Super meal. Our waitress Sharon was very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Lovely ambience. The Malbec was smooth and complemented the meal perfectly. Top notch!

Amazing food, no so amazing service, don't think she really wanted to be there. Recommend the rib-eye as they never seem to have the fillet mignon. Was excited for the spiced rum wings but they were just ordinary wings.
