Pasha Kebab in Rochford

Food is generally good but I've only ordered twice this year. Last time, hummus was missing, this time, feta salad was missing. Probably won't bother again, who wants to pay for stuff which isn't going to arrive?

We'd had a busy day Saturday and were too tired to cook. A quick google search showed this place. A few reviews mentioned the overly long delivery times, so we thought we'd drive up there and pick up. No sanitiser by the entrance or any obvious hygiene practices going on. Two scruffy unshaven guys behind the counter, one wearing a mask under his chin, the other no PPE at all. No obvious hygiene practices going on in the cooking area either. Being hungry we thought we'd bite the bullet and ordered. Got home with the food which was disappointing. Dry overcooked kofte and shish kebab, the chicken shish was ok, rice was lukewarm and best of all was one of the pitta breads had mould on it. The place could do with a deep clean and perhaps a visit from environmental health. We won't be back.

These are the laziest rudest and most unprofessional take away iv ever come across. They take forever even if you order to collect they ask you to come down in 30 mins then you end up standing in there for about half an hour while some big greasy guy scratches his backside making weird noises. If you order a delivery you may aswell forget about that you might see it 2 hours later if at all. Oh and don’t even think about calling them unless you fancy getting grunted at by something down the phone for 10 mins while he tries to understand the word kebab although you’d think they know what a kebab is considering that’s all they sell? If you’ve ever seen The Adams Family just think of Lurch knocking you up a kebab with Basil fawlty over seeing customer service and you’re pretty close to the reality of this place..

Gorgeous food - everything freshly cooked on order so isnt instant as some expect, but would rather eat something fresh and wait than be served up something that has been sitting!

Awful customer service! Tried to order for delivery, took my address, took my order then refused to deliver because their usual driver isn’t in and it’s too much trouble for the one that’s is on tonight to deliver 2 minutes down the road. The man claimed that they had tried to deliver to me last week and my road was too narrow to get down and I have nowhere for the driver to pull into. I explained that this wasn’t me as I haven’t ordered from them for some time and that I don’t live down a narrow road and I have a drive big enough to fit at least 8 cars but he still said they won’t deliver! Nice!

Waited 2 hours for dinner to turn up. When phoned twice was told both times that it was on its way which was obviously not true. Not fussed on how good the food is now, won't order from them again.

Popped in for lunch and was very impressed with the service, food and the look of the place.They were making the chicken Donna skewer at the time which was nice because I thought kebab shops all brought those.Polite helpful staff and the food was good so I'd recommend it.Added some pictures of the menu too as I always like to see that myself.

Absolutely disgusting service. Have had takeaways from here before as I like to support local businesses. The food has always been ok albeit takes longer than they say but tonight was beyond a joke. Was told our food would be half an hour then stood in there waiting for an hour for two dishes. Got home and one of them was completely the wrong order. I called up and polity explained the error and was told that the chicken wrap I had ordered on the phone an hour earlier was no longer on the menu!? I asked why they didn't tell me that when I ordered and got no explanation and no apology. A few seconds later in the conversation when I was mid sentence they hung up the phone. So disappointed however Rochford Takeaway is only a short drive away and have never had a bad experience there.

Took an hour and a half to arrive. Over charged us at the door and told us they were “too busy” to refund us and we would have to phone later. Rude staff and food came freezing cold and portions were incredibly smaller than the previous times. Will not be using again.

My work colleagues and I just experienced a fabulous lunch from Pasha Kebabs, Ashingdon. There was soooo much food and it was delicious! I thoroughly recommend it as a local take away. The owner was also very honest when I over paid and came to find me in the car park to give me back my money. Thank you! It was most appreciated.
