It was brilliant for My Birthday, food was good & hot, & served efficiently &with a smile. PP is only around the corner, so in walking distance.. When we had to move from outside to under cover because of rain, it was no trouble. We'll be back soon...FW & Family ♥️

We held our wedding reception here on Tuesday 31st May . Cheryl and the team put on a fantastic spread . Everyone commented on how lovely the food was . Cheryl decorated the conservatory area for us , even getting new helium balloons for us when ours failed !! We had a fantastic day and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect location to celebrate . Thanks guys.

Really good food and service. It took a while for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. Would've been five stars if the food had come out quicker but it was the night of a London derby on TV so happy to excuse the staff as the pub was so busy. Otherwise excellent bar service

The Paul Pry has established itself well within Rayleigh. The outside and inside has been generously updated and should be retained. The kids area has gone and should be reconsidered for extra kudos and to keep kids happy!Food is good, good variety of drink and relaxing.Big TVs in pub are sometimes a bit confusing to mixed punters in my view, great place all in all...

Amazing food in a lovely, clean and relaxing atmosphere. The perfect pub. Great selection of soft and alcoholic drinks, as well as main meals and smaller/side plates. Definitely one of the best places to go in Rayleigh for food or drinks, with colleagues, friends or family. Will return and recommend!

Just attended a friend's birthday party in the orangery room. Was delightful, great food at the buffet particularly the quiche. Nice ambience and a spot of fun karaoke 🎤. Was great would definitely consider booking for another birthday 🎂

I used to visit this pub many many years ago as this is where most of my work colleagues used to socialise after work. I stop going there and only recently paid a visit after change of owner from chef and brewer to Greene king. The new owners refurbished the pub completely. It's quite nice inside no, food is of typical British pub fare.

As you can see from the vast array of photos captured at our favourite pub, we have been coming to the Paul Pry for many years. In fact we had our second date here! We have seen the place change and develop and blossom. We love how it just gets better and better. We love the staff, the atmosphere, the decor and the beautiful outside space. The menu suits everyone and every dish I have tried has been delicious. I highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed! In fact I’m sure you’ll keep coming back time after time just as we have! Be sure to book though, they’re loved by many and everyone wants to go!

First time coming back to this pub since it's renovation and wow it looks amazing ! Felt like a London pub. We had a table for new years eve and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They handed out some party blowers just before midnight which was a nice touch. Will definitely consider this pub more often now in future!
