Visited here recently after a lovely country walk. Sat in the garden for drinks, didn't eat but the food coming out looked lovely, will definitely return.

·

Lovely old pub off the beaten track with beautiful garden. Good range of local beers and excellent Sunday lunch menu. Roast turkey was particularly good.

My wife and I visited here a few Sundays ago for Sunday lunch. We never have 3 courses each, but this time we did! And we thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, but especially the Roast. Perfect home cooked fresh food, just like you’d make at home but better!Extensive Gin menu as well as drinks. Can’t wait to come back!

First I thought looks bit expensive but when we finished are meals very good everything was fresh recommended 😀

Terrible attitudeBooked for mothers day and left a deposit,Unfortunately two of our family members got covid and therefore I phoned to cancel. I was told by the lady who answered the phone and the manager that they could not give me a refund on my deposit but the owner would be in touch. The owner then didn't phone until 30 minutes after the reservation was meant to be where he was particularly rude about why we weren't there and promptly hung up without an apology when I started to explain.

Lovely country pub, nice seating area outside. Seafood salad was very fresh & plenty of seafood...

Delightful meal, friendly service!I havent been here for ages, but was always one of my favourites! Food is consistently excellent. We sat in the garden and ate. Seared Tuna and Bramley Apple Pie for me, and a seafood combo for my guest. We both give it top marks! Lovely drive to get here too and we walked 2 miles round the sea wall, so put it on your list!!

Excellent little country pub that does excellent food and delicious cakes, well worth a visit after a coastal walk.

Been to this very popular pub a couple times now and loved both visits. On both occasions we have taken a 6 mile walk around Paglesham and the river Roach. So by the time we've completed that were ready for a cold pint and a decent sandwich. Friendly service and lovely gardens
