Regular visitor. Great all rounder. Pie n mash good too.

I was visiting family while I was down from Scotland, we don't get pie mash and liquor there, so I placed a takeaway order for 24 pies and 12 liquor to take back home to Scotland, which I know the pies will be absolutely great as I also had pie mash and liquor for my lunch, so I'm really looking forward to having traditional east end fayre at hom in Scotland. Thank you for accommodating a rather large export order.I went back with my sister in-law recently, for breakfast and the obligatory take away order of mash and liquor, firstly I had the number 4 on the breakfast menu, it was so nice to have a fried breakfast that was piping hot but the egg was still runny, it was delicious, the mash and liquor was successfully delivered 360 miles from the cafe, all the way to Scotland except for one pie, that didn't make it all the way, my powers of resolved crumbled away like a Jacobs cream cracker, to be fair the choice was burger king or a pie, nae contest.I look forward to returning.

Been here a few times excellent food and plenty of choice .Can also get a full roast on a Sunday.Very polite and friendly service

A nice old style cafe, good food of which there was a big selection, friendly staff. Ok portion, not huge, but enough.

I had the lamb roast for Sunday and it was absolutely delicious'The staff are very friendly and efficient. My husband had pie, mash and liquor. Its was not quite the same as "Manzes" pie and mash in the East Endbut was very nice anyway. Will definitely go back.

First visit here today, lovely meal, had the roast chicken, which was really nice loads of veg and roast potatoes + gravy. The staff service was great. Friendly and likes to chat. Speedy service and competitively priced. Clean premises and toilet. Well worth a visit. Thanks again. P.s the rolly polly desert was lovely too. 😋

Decent pie and mash, chilli vinegar and liquor available. Menu is more of a general cafe than just pie and mash which I go for, so not limited.

Traditional British cafe situated in Rayleigh high street, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere inside. Great pie and mash , cooked breakfast and a large menu of other choices including a kids selection.. Definitely a good choice of cafe if in Rayleigh

Went here on the recommendation of a family member and was not disappointed! Really lovely service, good prices and great pie and mash! My husband had the full English and said it was great! We will definitely be visiting again!
