Tudor Restaurant in Rochford

Booked a table about 2 weeks ago for tonight at 8pm with our friend's, it was for my friend's birthday,got there and the restaurant was shut, had no phone call to let us know,luckily we got a table at the Great Wall which was lovely,think they would have the decency to let us know

I had a really good experience in there, the sirloin skewer was good, flavoured as expected, the side portions were big enough for 1 person, i loved the chorizo. The desserts were amazing and again the portion were generous. Price affordable!Only 4 stars, because the flatbread was cold and the sirloin skewer was too hard to be sirloin, i was expecting to be really tender but wasn't the case.

Absolutely stunning meal, as always. Such good value for money. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Really enjoyable evening

Food was lovely.the waitress wasn't coming over to take our drinks order,we had to call her over twice. The main problem was the toilet...there was only one which is for men and women to share which I didn't like as it stunk like a men's urinal and the floor was all wet definitely need more than 1 toilet in the restaurant .really put us off .

We eat here fairly regularly for business dinners and entertaining suppliers or customers.The food is always fantastic and full of flavour, a nice selection of drinks as well.But what makes it all the more enjoyable are the staff, they always attempt to go the extra mile to make each and every meal 5*If you are ever in Rochford you must eat here, you won’t regret it.

First time I visited last night and personally, I thought this place is fantastic. Nice, cosy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The food was delicious. The portions were generous. And the price was surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back again.

Went to the skewer house last night. The food was amazing and such good value. I had the fillet steak skewer which was done to perfection. The staff were great, welcoming, and great at explaining the menu. I will be going back very soon.

Amazing authentic Portuguese restaurant. Cooked to perfection. Very generous portions we came out so stuffed!! Service was first class. Definitely best restaurant in the area. We will be back for seconds 🤩

Please see picture attached of what you will not believe is a corn on the cob with courgette. Amazingly this food took 90 minutes to arrive! We were a table of ten and planning on a nice Christmas lunch.. and what a mistake that was! When the food finally arrived after 90 minutes it was burnt to a crisp, whilst the remainder of the table still waited for their food and watched other tables be served ahead of us, the chef was able to cook more chorizo before completing our order! I would not recommend this to anyone, the out dated decor and slippery greasy floors would ensure I never return.... do not waste your time on this one!

I was impressed by this restaurant. Everything was perfect.This was our wedding anniversary and we felt wonderful . Thank you very much for your kindly attitude.
