Wimpy in Rochford

Banging!! We live in Plymouth, no Wimpys 😥 Visiting Southend, it's a must!! The new vegan burger is great!! ❤️

Food was better than the Southend one. And was hot. We only went in for a hot drink. But ended up eating in as well. Even though we didn't eat all the food. But was nice anyway

Went there for breakfast was one of the tastiest breakfasts I have had in a long time well worth going there. Service was excellent

Ordered burgers and chips and after getting halfway thru my dinner, found a hair on my plate. To be fair the manager didn't charge us and was very apologetic. But it has put me off eating there again.

Do NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!Food was absolutely vile and cold - will attach photos if I can.Both milkshakes were dropped on my drive - no replacement offered.Food arrived 40 minutes late.Total time from order to delivery was almost 2 hours.Called restaurant 9 times as promised a call back and not given one.Management refused to speak to us.Just Eat driver said poor company who he doesn't like represent due to number of complaints. Driver agreed we would get a full refund.Wimpy manager refused refund!!!ABYSMAL SERVICE!!!!

I first went here to Wimpy about two years ago. I was very happy, because the lady who was the manager/owner was so sweet. She served me and my friend very fast. Our food was good and quick. It was nicely cooked, and the presentation was nice. I have to be particular about what I eat, and they made sure my meal did not have anything wrong in it. I would definitely say YES! Go here for a nice meal. Even when the restaurant is full, the staff still manage to be polite and friendly to you. I like to go here, even if it's only for a cup of tea or coffee.

I am a fussy eater, and when I came to Britain from Holland, my friend took me to Wimpy. I was so impressed. Reasonable Price. Well cooked, and Tasty. Fast service. The next year, I came back with my old friend, who we took to Wimpy for an English Breakfast. Staff so friendly and attentive. Even though my spoken English is not that good. I would definitely refer you to this restaurant.

I first came to the UK about 10 years ago for a holiday. My friend took me to Wimpy. Loved it. Now every time I come to the UK, it is one of the first places I visit. Their Quarterpounder is amazing. The staff are very attentive, and always ensure my disabled friend is comfortable. They are patient, and understanding. They listen carefully, and are always happy to rectify mistakes. Even for myself as a man, the portions are generous, and I thought that their pricing was fair. Would definitely recommend. Well worth popping in there, even if only for a snack.

Drove 168 miles to get new car in Essex , spotted wimpy bar , not had one for years, loved it, shame the milkshake machine broken.... No hand sanitizer in doorway....

The Mega burger meal was nice, I wouldn't say it was particularly "mega" in size but it was tasty.The actual restaurant was nothing special, it's quite a small one but appeared clean and tidy. The staff were squabbling about something halfway through my meal and they didn't appear overly happy.When I arrived I went to the counter, picked up a menu and sat myself down at a table. As I've not been to wimpy in years I don't know if this is the norm but there was no interaction with staff on my arrival - they did come over to take my order after about 5mins though.Overall the food was overpriced but tasted fairly good, restaurant itself was middle of the road (I'd say on par with Burger King). I wouldn't say the staff were rude but they could have done with being more friendly/welcoming.
