Ye Olde Crown in Rochford

Very good value for money in a classic British boozer. Good meal, more than decent service, chilled and pleasant surroundings. Looks a hell of a lot better inside than it does outside.

I met up with an old work mate here. I arrived 15 minutes early (12:45), he arrived 15 minutes late (13:15). What could I say though - he's an old pal. I know, I know, I'm as soft as that jelly they squirt into pork pies. It's just the way I am. Don't judge me.

Lovely place to visit, staff was polite and couldn’t do more for you, we brought our little dog in and he was a big hit with the girls we was all well looked after. We decided to stay for lunch it was lovely and hot. We will be returning and of course bringing the dog :)

Really lovely visit today. The pub was clean and tidy, the staff were attentive and helpful. Great selection of beers and ales. Food was lovely Definitely one to revisit.

First time trying dirty tackle ale went down lovely only in due to 6 nations- shame as I like it but I’m sure there’s more i will like. Nice atmosphere il bring the wife next time!

Great pub with always on food and drink offers. Friendly hard working staff. Shows all the big sports events and has live entertainment.

Very friendly and pleasant and the drinks were good and reasonable. What more could we ask for? I bet this is a lively bar, with a good atmosphere, in the evenings. There's a few screens for sports fans.

Awesome, quirky business with a central bar. Really friendly and welcoming team with a fantastic selection of beers, wines and spirits available and really tasty food.Can't recommend enough - worth a visit.

been a few times now, been for lunch the food is lovely and a good price. Also been on a weekend night with friends, such a good atmosphere and the staff are always so great and helpful even when very busy. Would definitely recommend!

Came in yesterday with friends for couple of drinks and ended up staying most of the day! The hobgoblin gold went down a treat. We all had lunch and everyone was very happy with there meal. Looks like every Wednesday we will meet up here!
