Beefeater in South Cambridgeshire

Great food both Saturday evening meal and the Sunday roast, the staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Sue on Sunday who served us Thank you to everyone for making our visits so enjoyable, loved it 👍😊

Just spent a nice couple of hours with friends having Sunday roast. Thoroughly enjoyed it excellent service from our servers Sue and the manager. Definitely be back as we had evening meal Saturday night also. Well done all thank you 🙂

Plenty of food on just two courses. Been a long while since I've eaten at Beefeater. Was encouraged by this visit to want to try it again. Very helpful service Tracy W.

Disappointed for the second time of eating here, roast beef was all fat and chewy. The roast potatoes were black. My sons pizza was awful. Definitely won't be coming back here again. Wish I could give 0 stars

Had a drink only and paid by cash, not card. How did you know I was there? You should mind your own business. Will have to leave Google.

Visited with friends, using a discount voucher I’d been sent. Presented voucher on arrival as required and server made note of reference number. When bill arrived at end of evening they tried to charge full price. Good job I scrutinised bill!I bought bottle of wine and asked for it to be put on tab. They asked for scan of credit card which I provided.When bill eventually arrived it included bottle of wine so no problem there. However, after couple of days my credit card was deducted a further sum for this ( now very expensive ) bottle of wine.I don’t normally complain and realise that mistakes happen. I sent an email to the company explaining the overcharging and a few days later sent them a reminder but they have never replied to me or even acknowledged my emails. All I’ve asked for is a refund!!I will not visit again until/unless I receive my refund and an apology

Good service. Affordable and convenient. Free refills of drink and food is excellent. Particularly if you're hungry!

If I were only rating the service I would have given it 5 stars. The staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately I found the food disappointing. I was only given a small jug of very thin gravy and I had to ask for extra. The beef was ok but cut very thin and I would not call it prime. The mash was not very pleasant and the second roast potatoes were dry. The pub did serve Dr Pepper which I enjoyed, although I did ask them not to put lime in the refills as it doesn't work well together.
