Captains table St Ives cornwall in South Cambridgeshire

Booked a table a few weeks in advance and had the good fortune to get a second booking a few days later. Looked after by Leanne who is an asset to The Captain's Table.Food came quickly and portions were generous. Service was very good.Booking well in advance is most definitely recommended or you can take your chance with walking in downstairs at The Sloop Inn.

Where do I start from the moment we walked in to the moment we left I can’t say how much we enjoyed every moment the food was amazing the staff friendly polite and professional and nothing was too much will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to St Ives

Fantastic food & drink, the Tomato soup & the Seafood Paella was the best i've had!

Spent NY Eve here . The Staff were Brilliant. The Food was gorgeous.the atmosphere was lovely. I couldn’t fault a thing, Thank you for helping to make a brilliant end to a horrible yearHappy New Year to all your Staff

Lovely harbour view table, thought we were in for a lovely treat. The starters were fine although the sliced cheap white bread was a bit of a shock. The fish on both the mains was overcooked. Could not be bothered complaining about another disappointing experience, surely a decent chef would not let it leave the kitchen. However the staff were very pleasant.

I have asked the staff whether they have fresh and alive lobsters, they said yes they got lobsters from the market very 7 am , however the lobster is absolutely not fresh one, the meat tastes really bad, but it still costs 20 pounds, anyway, I really miss the lobster I ate in Plymouth. Here is overpriced and bad quality

Been comeing to st ives for years .we ate here last year and was so impressed we booked for new years day.staff are so friendly .food is beautifull .we had the spare ribs .if your a bit eater you must try these.
