Fish'n'Chick'n Sawston in South Cambridgeshire

£20 for cold, uncooked chips. Tried calling 10 times and no one answers the phone. A fish and chop shop that can’t cook chips.

Extremely variable - occasionally the food is great, usually it's mediocre, quite often it's so bad it's inedible. On the other hand, the staff are always great.

Nice fish and chips. But they must remember to close the chip tray door to keep the chips hot.

I returned to the Cambridge area recently and decided to use Fish n Chicken as the food has been excellent in the past. Unfortunately not only has the price gone up, but the quality has gone down. The Fish was mediocre and the chips were awful, it ruined a family reunion, as the meal was my treat. Such a shame this used to be a great Fish and chip shop. I won't be back.

Nice prompt service. Had cod and chips with curry sauce x 2. Slightly disappointed. Wasnt happy last time but gave them another chance. Fish was lovely but batter was soggy and it wasn't very warm. Chips cold no salt and vinegar on as requested. Only given one curry sauce but asked for two.

7th April 2021 about 8pm.Ordered Large Cod - Large Chips - Medium Cod.One word can sum up - AWFUL!!The fish were overcooked so were chewy and had no taste. The chips we a mixture of small pieces - some edible but mostly not.NEVER AGAIN!I cannot believe how much this F&C shop has gone downhill - you could always rely on the fish and although the chips were never reliable they weren't ever as bad as those tonight. The outcome - the vast majority are now in the dustbin!As I have already said - NEVER AGAIN!
