Pig and Abbot in South Cambridgeshire

1st time there and not the last. Hot day so we sat outside, lovely tranquil garden. Food was excellent, great menus and service was friendly, polite and attentive. Be back soon!!!

Have to give this superb Pub/Restaurant 5 stars because it ticked all the boxes, Atmosphere very friendly, Great choice of drinks, Amazing countryside location, Professional Staff with a smile but the food is the main 5 star rating. Everything you expectFrom a country pub. Meals, drinks. A gorgeous fire even the pig enjoyed it.(see photos) staff really helpful friendly and polite and it was very well used. You really should pop in. Thank you to the young lady barstaff who brought us our cappuccinos by the fire. X

We were advised to eat here and we were not in the slightest bit disappointed. Unfortunately we went on a Friday just hours after my 11 year old's cat was put to sleep (they grew up together) and he wasn't massively happy, neither was my wife! The staff were absolutely brilliant with him and indeed us. They were kind and considerate and even gave him some haribo sweeties.The food was very nice, plenty of it and very fresh. The toilets were spotless and even had sensor opening bins saving the need to touch more that we had too.Even though its about an hours drive we will be back under happier circumstances!5 stars.

Great pies-very meaty, freshly made and plenty of chips. £3.50 for a pint of coke was a bit steep. Toilets were modern and very clean.

Often when you go to a pub in a largish party (18 on this occasion) the food can be mediocre. Not in the Pig and Abbot, really good food and excellent service. The pub is also very well looked after, the toilets were immaculate. Great place to eat.

Had a family Sunday lunch here a couple.of weeks ago. Lots of choice, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect afternoon.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and great food. Recently had a large family gathering for Sunday lunch and everybody enjoyed the food and friendliness.

This beautiful pub gives you a hug!! So friendly! We felt so welcome! Wonderful regulars!! Just how a pub should be! The food looked superb and we will definatly be back👍

Always a great visit to the Pig and Abbot. The steak is always a great choice. The baked potato sublime and the lasagne perfectly cooked. The one thing i'd suggest is for the seats to be a little comfier. Other than this a fantastic experience.
