Amazing food and staff. Thoroughly recommend this place to eat

Still the best Sunday Roast around. Haven't been since before COVID. Not quite as busy as it was but that's a good thing when booking a table.Good choice of Sunday Roast meats or a mix of them. Plus a reasonable amount of other mains. Desserts to die for. Can't wait to go back

Had an excellent Sunday lunch, they have got it just right. Plenty of meat. Lots of veg and gravy, and vitally all the required sauces to go with it, efficiently served, Well done

This is a very popular local place with a lovely, friendly landlady.The food choices are varied and the quality of food and service is high.There's lots of parking, good wheelchair access and outdoor dining is well catered for in the informal country garden that backs onto fields with a view of boats on the river in the distance.A really super local with a friendly atmosphere, child friendly and with food which is above the usual quality of a local pub.(Good clean Loos too! )I wish I had a local like this!

A big group of us booked in yesterday, 9 adults, 3 young kids for Sunday lunch. The food was great, the portions huge (come hungry) and the staff were lovely, friendly, and most helpful. Thank you. Would highly recommend.

Went there for Sunday lunch with the family. Beautiful pub, friendly staff and lots of really good food. Didn't have to wait long even though they were busy and the food came hot and tasty. Slight overkill with the potatoes - roast, mashed and boiled but I guess it's nice to have the option. Good selection of desserts, not that I had space for it

We went to the Plough for the first time this Friday as part of a small group of walkers. The Pub were very accommodating obviously used to walkers and allowed us to park in their car park and use toilets before the walk as well as order food so it was ready when we returned. The service and food were both excellent, very impressed, will certainly use this pub again.

The best pub I've been to. It's well run, efficient, consistently really great food, great beer and lovely staff. What more can you want? The only place we feel happy to bring our friends to.
