The Crown & Punchbowl in South Cambridgeshire

The food here is phenomenal. I had the beef, ale and wild mushroom pie. I'm embarrassed that I asked for a side of Coleman's mustard because the pie and gravy was so flavourful. I think it's the best pie I have tasted. Thoroughly recommend.

A lovely and friendly pub for a Sunday lunch. Celeriac steak was beautiful. Dogs are well catered for too. A perfect lunch venue for my dad's 80th birthday

Lovely place! Very good rooms and the breakfast was among the best I've had. Excellent running by the river and if you go early you will catch all the rowing practice which makes a nice hare if you are so inclined. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub with rooms, the staff are very caring and make you feel welcome. The food is excellent. Very close to cambridge and the airport. Great parking facilities.

Wow, what a fantastic Sunday lunch they offer!We attended The Crown & Punchbowl on Sunday 10th April 2022 for my 22nd Birthday!All staff members offered the highest level of service and could not do enough for us all, so thank you to everyone who catered for our booking!The Sunday lunch was impeccable! Just the right amount of everything, so hats off the the chef/kitchen staff!It was our first time visiting and we were excited as we had visited all other Cambs Cuisine restaurants/pubs except this one… but to be honest, this one definitely wins 1st place!We all cannot wait to return and will see you all very soon!

Wow just spent 2 nights at this amazing place. A great welcome on arrival, superb room with lots of thought in the design and furnishings. A very welcome meeting at the bar, and then to dinner. Great food and menu, the staff are really attentive, excellent service. Breakfast was great both mornings . We took a taxi to the city, around 15 minutes and took the hassle of parking. Etc . Night 2 yet another fantastic meal and service. Well done all involved in the running of this place, if quality and great service matters you won’t go wrong here!

A lovely place with great staff and an awesome breakfast. We stayed for only one night but we really felt like we didn’t want to leave. Comfy bed, amazing shower, great silent surroundings that make dining outside a great unwinding experience after a busy week. Can’t wait to go back again ♥️
