The George in South Cambridgeshire

We’ve just had a lovely roast the The George. It’s our first time, but we will definitely be back. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was great and we were served by Lottie, who was polite, friendly, engaging with not only us but all of the other tables around us. Really great service!

Lovely pub. Very friendly service and the food looked and smells beautiful. We didn't eat today but will definitely be going back to sample the menu. Very nice cozy feel and clean and tidy throughout. Highly recommended 👌

Have now been 3 times twice with my daughter and once with my son and daughter the food was excellent and plentiful the beer was of a very high standard the staff were very pleasant and helpful will definitely be going back

Scrumptious food in a lovely spacious setting. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be visiting again.

Went with a nice bunch of people (COVID safe) and the waitress was very calmed and let us know that in that moment the kitchen was very busy and we might needed to wait a bit longer than usual. The food was worth waiting for. The waitress was very kind and listening very carefully to our orders and our changes of minds.... All went smoothly after all!Very confy environment as well by the way! Good place to relax and unwind!

We have been at the George quite a few times. Our favourite pub by far and its local! Food and service are amazing. The fish and chips is like a shark size! Our favourite dish is Deli Burger by far. Desert is always brownie.

Very disappointedWent on a Sunday at 3 pm as they changed the time from 2 pm. Think all the food had been eaten in the earlier sittings. So best avoid going too late.Did email them but never got a reply.Booked because the reviews were very good.

We had a great time here. The food was yummy with especially large portions of chips! They have outdoor seating areas infront and behind the main bar and you can bring your dogs.
