Food was ok but the sevice was poor.We ordered a starter which came quickly but then waited about 30 minutes after finishing our starter for the waitress to come back to us.We waited a further 20 minuets and it was evident that our main meal forgotten about. We were the only customers in the Pub eating there at the time (3 of us)The food was not great but edible whenWould not return again, We had visited Duxford beforehand so were looking forward to a nice pub meal.No apology or explanation was given to us about the delay.

Fantastic! Had a pub lunch there today. Scampi, chips, peas and tartar sauce. £8.95 per head, which is great value. The chips were out of this world and the portions were generous.Definitely recommended.

Pub food but was both a generous serving and delicious. Service good too, very friendly welcome.

I was passing through today and stopped in for a pint and something to eat. £5.15 a pint of Morretti, £12.95 for ale battered fish and chips. The food was really nice, but sadly very small portions. I had 10 chips!! This is the amount I'd expect in a kids meal, not an adults meal. Lovely pub, friendly staff... but I personally feel there wasn't enough chips with the meal. I left here and stopped somewhere else for a proper meal as I was still hungry. My friend had roast beef with all the trimmings and that was a decent (normal) sized meal. I wish I had that.

TARDIS of a pub! Looks small from the front but has had a few extensions in the 400 years it's been there. Extensive beer garden with 3 little chalet style shelters seating 8-12 each. Friendly owner and staff, chatted with me a while about the building. Beer was good, food was excellent! Ordered a rump steak, they were out so I got upgraded to sirloin for no extra. Reasonable prices too. Something to look out for and see if you can spot... Just for fun.In the conservatory/dining room there are five posters with famous food related quotes on them. One of them has a spelling mistake! Why not pop into the pub, order a meal and maybe have a drink or two and see if you can find it! Even if you can't I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit.

Greyhound Public House Sawston: This pub has had a revamp since l last visited many years ago. It has still managed to retain its local pub atmosphere It has a good solid menu at a reasonable price. The decor and seating area has been enlarged and is bright. Plenty of parking and disabled access us not too onerous. Good selection of beers at the pumps is reasonable

Great welcoming staff and some great food all freshly made to order

A lovely welcome! Friendly Landlady and good honest pub grub. Much better experience than the Green Room. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

We held the wake of our loved one here. Prearrangements were smooth and all clear at a time when many things need planning. The food was fantastic, constantly replenished with the staff being thoughtful throughout. Recommended. Thank you.

Poor service and bad food.Soup came extremely salted. Lamb was burnt and dry with no red cabbage even though it had it on the menu. They had no squid even though on the menu. Pie came out burnt as well. Asked for no veg on one plate came packed with peas.Near toilet area they had trays and water boilers , glasses, all crowded at the entrance.Never again
