The service was painfully slow but very friendly but the food was quite disappointing. The poppadoms seemed stale, not very crunchy. The prawn puree was all purée and no prawn,I think they had run out of filling. The mains were bland. We spoke to other customers who also were not happy with the slow service, it seemed like the take away trade was bustling and that was all that mattered. We’ve loved previous visits but this was a big let down.

Lovely decor and surroundings and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was only LUKE warm and served in cold China bowls...even the balti ! Being Indian food fans we were disappointed.

Really delicious food, I had a luxurious lababdaar, and other specific things enjoyed at our table were the dahl makhani and chicken jalfrezi.

Had a takeaway last week, when we got home my rice which I paid for was missing. My son phoned, they said come and collect but they are too far. Their only offer was a reduction next time. But I will not be going back, as the food was not great either not impressed

AVOID! We ordered delivery via Uber Eats from this restaurant. The curries are incredibly sweet to the point where it’s suffocating to eat it. The chana masala dish was the blandest thing I’ve ever had in my life.I understand this place is catered to a very specific clientele who may not like anything on the more than extremely mild side of spicy but it’s horrifyingly bland.Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian food.

We heard a lot about this restaurant from our friends, so today just to avoid waiting in the traffic jam after picking up our son from school we decided to go to this restaurant and have lunner ( lunch cum dinner). My son loves lamb chop so we ordered main dish of lamp chop as his starter and mix platter for us, we also ordered 1/2 Tandoori chicken , butter chicken, papodam and tandoori roti. Both in platter and main course lamb was so uncooked that my son had struggled in chewing it. Informed manager he instantly said I will replace it but unfortunately by that time my son lost all his desire to have food. We tried butter chicken to be honest I have tried butter chicken in different restaurants around the world this is probably one of the worse .Manager was sensible enough and acknowledged that other customers also complained about the same, and asked me to leave address so that he can do a home delivery once the good quality lamb arrive. I avoided it.So overall heavily disappointed.

Some of the best Indian food around Cambridge. Definitely gives Navadhanya (Michelin star Indian restaurant in Cambridge) a run for its money.Highly recommend the Tawa lamb (can change lamb to chicken or a few other alternatives) if you can handle the spice. The tarkda daal is also an amazing vegetarian dish you cannot go wrong with. Finally the mango laasi is to die for, it pairs amazingly with the food. If you really like fish, the sorisha salman is amazing as well, lots of rich mustard flavors.

Really nice place to go. Everything is so clean and tidy. Music is quiet. Food is very nice and taste. All staff so polite and friendly! I can highly recommend. We will go definitely back! Thank you very much

The butter chicken only had a few bits of chicken , was only half full, and was really spicy even though it was marked as mild. The lamb dish had a nice sauce flavour but the lamb itself was bland. First time and last time.
