The Old Crown in South Cambridgeshire

Nice enough, was enticed by the two for £12 deal. The food was rather basic, nothing wrong with it. The portions were quite small unfortunately so I did not feel as full up as I feel I should have done. The place itself is in quite a nice building, out of the busy central cambridge. Not many gluten free options unfortunately.

Four of us had lunch. Food was superb, we each polished off three courses. Guinness better than most, wine excellent. Definitely recommend

Went for a meal which was tasty but issue was had to send starter back twice in the end gave up on it. The food we did eat was well presented and good value. Waiting staff polite and professional. Had discount added to the bill without asking as was willing to pay for what we had eaten. Would I go there again, not sure as there are plenty of other eateries in the area, but probably would give it a second chance as I did enjoy my main course and desert. The Old Crown is a lovely pub, very nice decor, was clean and comfortable with a nice atmosphere.

We had a family gathering here on the 10th April. The food was quite good. I ordered the Roast Lamb which I found slightly undercooked and chewy. The staff apologised and my lamb was replaced with roast chicken. The meal price was reasonable. The service was good.We there is also a ramp for those less able. The car park is good and access is easy.

Excellent quality food, unpretentious but subtle flavours, choices on the menu for most. Great service so will definitely revisit. 3 courses and a drink for two, 71gbp. Worth it.

Great food and fantastic service. Staff are always so attentive and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

Most delicious food this side of Cambridge! My grandmother and I had a great time catching up in a friendly environment with a beautiful view!

We went last Sunday and I had the best Sunday Roast I've ever had!! The vegetables were amazing, the meat was incredible and even the gravy was perfect!! Then I had the baked apple as a dessert, and it was delicious!They also have a great wine and drinks menu.And, last but not least, the service is also really good.I recommend it 1000%!!! Great menu, great food, speedy service and friendly staff. Newly extended beer garden (enclosed) with a great kids play area. I had never been to the Old Crown but I shall be returning! Many thanks!!!!!
