I honestly don't think I've had a better meal anywhere (including London, where we're from) for a very long time. The service from a very friendly and efficient waitress was immaculate, and the food was outstanding - our mains were rib eye steak and mushroom risotto - and an excellent wine list, although the name of our very fine red escapes me! Can thoroughly recommend.

Had fab Sunday roast today, called on spur of the moment & they were happy to fit us in. It was very busy but the bar & restaurant are extremely well managed, the guy behind the bar was friendly & courteous, as were all the staff. Lovely lady at the door to welcome you which is a great touch. Food was wonderful, lovely atmosphere, we'll be going back for sure. There are even little foot 'pedals' on the bottom of the toilet door so you don't have to touch it, amazing!

This is a very nice venue and doesn't let itself down at all. Spacious and clean with comfortable chairs lots of room. The sunday menu was just right and catered for most tastes, with the option of vegan or vegetarian nut roast. The calamari was perfectly cooked. The main course was hot and tasty with a good selection of veg. Pudding was equally delicious with a good variety to choose from. Overall i would recommend a visit here with no hesitation. Well done to all the staff.
