The Red Lion in South Cambridgeshire

A very popular pub with great Sunday Roasts in very generous portions. Three of is went yesterday and had the special - roast lamb. Two had the 'senior' portions - essentially half the meat and half the Yorkshire pudding - but we all got to share the 4 bowls of addional veg - pommes dauphinoise, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, carrots & peas - a mountain of food.A nice pub, but maybe a bit noisy, thanks to the low ceilings in the main dining room. We will be back for more!

It's a pub with character and a special place in my heart and stomach. Many locals but accepting of outsiders. Very friendly staff and eclectic food choices. Regular pub food done well at lunch with a crazy chicken menu as an extra and really good Thai food in the evening.

The best Sunday roast. Everything is fresh and its all homemade. No frozen yorkshires here! Great value for money. Its a struggle to finish it. Don't go anywhere else.

My favourite Cambridge watering hole - with excellent barmaids and the legendary casey and lovely food couldnt wish for a better ambiance and good service with a smile . Well done all - keep up the geat work xx

Perfect British pub! I had a burger off the specials board - very tasty! The waffle was ace too.Good honest food, perfectly cooked, nice atmosphere and great staff. Very enjoyable time had. Thankyou Red Lion

Great staff, warm greeting upon entry, Had an amazing Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Superb!
