Disappointed, looking forward to Pinksters G&T - not available and not even any Gin glasses! Enjoyed Meantime IPA, but the sirloin steak was very mediocre but 5 star price. The salmon starter was very tasty, but lettuce salad was really a Caesar salad - very bitter lettuce. We used to love this place, but unlikely to return.

We booked a table for 7pm and arrived to find that the one vegetarian main on the menu was not available. The waiter went to the kitchen to ask the chef and this took some time before returning with vague options including Caesar's salad without the chicken. For £19.50 for a main we'd suggest you go somewhere else when this is the standard

We’ve just had Sunday roast lunch which was rather disappointing. Everything on the menu is expensive so one expects a little bit more than an average pub lunch! Also, the menus on their website are all ‘sample’ menus which is quite misleading as one doesn’t know what one is going to get

Really lovelu atmosphere, nice decoration. We only popped in for a coffee and a starter in the middle of a bikeride and it was great. We had cappuccinos and the meat and foccaccia platter. Will definitely come back to try some cocktails and mains. Desserts also looked great and fhe place is huge! Outside area, sort of cafe area, a back part, upstairs area and also a terrace.

It's cool..... Evening weekend dinner with my siblings..... Quite busy but not overly loud... Food was good although quite limited in choice.... Service was good.....

Very Good. There was some little things that could have made it better. We started off in the bar. They can not give change because they don't have a float? Really? Once everyone had turned up we went over to our table. Taking the orders was quick and the food turned up fast. Once we finished the meal some of us ordered coffee, that took a long time to turn up (the place was not busy). The food was excellent scotched egg, main and desert. The dirty chips was amazing! It is not a cheap-eats place so you except everything to be very good. One of the bowls had a lot of chips on the edge (broken bowl) but was still used to serve. I ordered a lamb dish (with peas, carrots, onions) that came in a big bowl so it was not easy to eat (why a bowl?). The décor was really nice. Overall the experience was very good and the food was excellent, with a few attention to details it could get 5 star.

Superb ambience, great service, clean toilets, easy parking. Lovely out door seating, dog friendly. Food ok. Need more vegetarian choice. Nice place to go for a relaxed meal or an occasion

Food was fantastic and they were able to cater extremely well for Gluten Free & Dairy Free options. One of the best meals I have had out recently - Can’t wait to come back soon! COVID-19 restrictions were brilliant too!

Most unfortunate but I have to give this restaurant a one star review because 1) their staff were very slow and unattentive, 2) they served me raw chicken. I was tucking into the kiev which was very tasty when I noticed something strange; a good portion of the top was literally raw.I had to walk to the bar to get the staff's attention. In fairness they were very apologetic and offered me a replacement meal. However, I think the best to do in the situation is not to charge for that particular dish but I don't think their staff or management are trained sufficiently well to handle such situations. I honestly could not recommend this restaurant to anyone given that there are a few gastro pubs nearby.

Great atmosphere! Yummy food! Lovely decor! We bumped into this place on our way to visit Cambridge and we decided to stop for lunch. Really surprised us the quality of the food and the place. Staff was very helpful and kind. Saved to favourites! :)
